Summary: I had problems and thought it was the board. But after contacting the seller they helped me to find out my problem. It was not the board at all but the memory. They did not have to help me find the problem but did in fact help me to trouble shoot it . Thanks Guys.
Summary: This board finally died in June of 2013, not a bad run since I ran it nearly 24/7 that entire time. I'm not a gamer but I do love fiddling with OS's and this board ran any flavor of linux I threw at it over the years without a hitch.
Pros: I bought it on 08-13-2007. Very upgrade-able.
Summary: This is my older pc I gave to my dad, my new one has corsair vengeance 32 gb of 1866 MHz ram pushed to 2000mhz amd 8120 eight core pushed to 5ghz stable xfx 7870 2gb on a asus m5a97 and 850 watt corsair.
Pros: This board is amazing!!! I have owned it for at least five years. I paid 200 plus back in the day, worth every penny. The board has been good to me. I've added a sata III/USB 3.0 controller on the pci-e x1 slot significantly sped up my Samsung 840 pro 256GB SSD And my 7200 rpm 64MB cache black WD...
Cons: I would have to say only con sata 2 but I solved that read above, other then that none.
Summary: Wow this board has been good to me for the past 5 years! I have never really had any problems with my PC, I've seen a blue screen maybe twice and that was when I had vista. It's been a long time coming for me to update my PC but I will miss this board.
Pros: Good support drivers, lots of customization, integrated RAID support, Integrated SPDIF. Works very well, never had any problems with it.
Cons: None really, other than low max RAM (8GB) but it was good for the time it was built in.
Summary: If your building a rig on the cheep pick this up, you wont be sorry.
Pros: I have owned this Mobo for over 5 years, and let me tell you it has stood up to the test of time. im just leaving my final take on the board because its time to upgrade and i would like to leave my thoughts. One processor burnt out it was a 6000+ just bought a replacement ran two cards on the boa...
Cons: Little Windows 7 Support, there are plenty of work arounds to get it to work with a 64bit OS of windows7 so in all reality i would say the on board wifi is ok i would buy something faster. and really the placement of the memory could of been better.
