Summary: I wanted a good motherboard from a reputable brand for my first gaming pc build. Luckily this Asus motherboard had all the basic features and solid build quality that I needed. It fits perfectly in a Silverstone SG05 case that I built it in.
Summary: I did update the bios to the 0803 version before loading the OS. I temporarily hooked up a SATA DVD-ROM and had no issues installing windows. Along with an Intel 330 SSD and an i3 4330 CPU, this thing is blazing fast... and tiny in an Antec ISK 110 case.
Summary: I build computers as a side gig and always make a point to use ASUS motherboards. The BIOS and easy setup are what sell me on them every time. Unfortunately this motherboard presented a couple of problems during initial setup of my first Haswell machine.
Summary: Board works well, I have i5 chip in it with 8 gb memory & am using the pc I built with it to write review. Be careful when buying boards that you get the right socket for the chip you are going to use.
