Cons: Everything, board will not post to even the compatible ram. I have updated the bios and used three types of ram, still no go. Board will work for awhile then not post. I am not happy and most of all my customer is not happy.
Summary: Can you imagine a $400.00 board and go thru this?
Pros: None, other than it looks good in the case.
Cons: I had thought that ASUS was top of the line. They are bottom feeders. The support was,,, horrendous. I believe that they work with companies that they get a kickback from... G.SKILL, CRUCIAL, TEAM, does not post in their board. Support said "look at the memory compatibility list". They are suppos...
Summary: Don't waste your time unless you look forward to replacing the stock Realtek LAN and audio with your own replacements, as they will fail. The ASUS chat staff will be more than happy to blame Windows 8.1 or the drivers but will do nothing to address the issue.
Pros: Lots of bells and whistles, few of them worth anything.
Cons: LAN controller failed after one week, ASUS claims it's a Windows 8.1 driver issue.
Summary: On board button gets me to the same place. Rechecked everything, but maybe I'm missing something.
Pros: Well marked. Installed in case with no difficulty.
Cons: When powered up, itt goes to the Initial bios screen where I can either hit DEL or F2, at which point nothing happens. Single beep tells me it is looking for a keyboard. Have tried a good variety of them that I have on hand, but it recognizes none of them.
Summary: NEVER had this type of issue with MSI. Very disappointed with ASUS and lack of quality control to let a bad bios hit the market.
Pros: good when it worked.
Cons: THE NEW ASUS BIOS KILLED MY SYSTEM DO NOT UPDATE THIS BOARD TO 5206. I tried going back to 5109 and NOW... I must reset the bios jumper EVERY TIME the system starts in order to get it to work. ASUS Contact support GOES NOWHERE...
