Conclusion: There’s really nothing much to say. Asus has a good streak of M/V-Pro series motherboards so far- as you would and should expect from a Tier 1 manufacturer. On a personal note, it would be best if the 8th SATA is kept as SATA port rather than eSATA.
Asus F2A85-V PRO Mainboard Review: Very Good Socket FM2 Mainboard
13 April 2013
Summary: This mainboard looks great, is convenient to work with, offers rich functionality and high performance. However, its price is pretty high and the board is not very energy-efficient. It does have other advantages and a few other drawbacks, which we will unveil in the following review.
Summary: The AMD Trinity group of APUs has become quite popular for those looking to build a low cost, but well performing system. Unfortunately, the new Trinity APUs were built on a new FM2 socket design that will require a motherboard to support it.
Conclusion: Final Words Concluding a review of the first motherboard of a new chipset is difficult. New chipset usually means new processors, so a lot of what a reviewer has to say ends up being more about the processors in question.
Summary: The ASUS F2A85-V Pro is a very solid AMD Socket FM2 motheboard from one of the top companies out there. If you’re in the market to build AMD’s latest ‘Trinity’ platform the ASUS F2A85-V Pro should be on your short list if not on the top of it!
Conclusion: Overall, we knew straight away that this board was going to be a strong contender, and not just in one area but in pretty much every aspect and that’s what we’ve come to know and love from Asus.
