Great Board! Slight Complications!

Summary: I paired this board with an AMD FX 8350 (OC@4.5Ghz) with hyper 212+ sits at 35c idle and 40c during heavy load. My rig is designed for broadcasting video games over the internet on twitch.tv/starboundhero.
Pros: This board is a powerhouse! Not does it support nearly every major stick of ram you would want to throw in it, but, it is an overclocking genius! Overclocking with this board is like putting training wheels on a custom chopper, fool proof! On top of that, the board is very cosmetically appealing!...
Cons: Upon first receiving the board I had major difficulties getting the board to post. The bios on the board was not up to date and the board did not support my CPU with the bios that the board came shipped with. I set up my entire system before initially turning on the rig and was unsuccessful in po...
Summary: What a great MB! I now have an amazingly fast computer. While I do play an occasional game.... I built my new computer to primarily edit video and do real time video production... Very happy with thei product!
Summary: Powerfull MB automatic OverClock it's great! and manually OC better yet. Only 4 star because i had to find another compatible processor for update the bios because the original bios it's not compatible with FX-8150 processor
Summary: I have had this MB since 2011 and it has worked flawlessly since purchasing.
Pros: Ran great out of the box. The interface is great, ROG's usually are. I like that ASUS still allows for password-on-boot bios support, and i like being able to save configurations. I don't want to disgrace other buyers' too much, but a DOA should be exchanged On Arrival, not a month later.
Cons: RAID support should be seamless, requiring no OS drivers, configured through BIOS similar to GigaByte boards. Full USB 2.0/3.0 support needs to be enabled sooner in Bios configuration, otherwise, you cannot enter a Bios password using keyboards that draw any kind of power.
Summary: This is a high quality motherboard with a very configurable BIOS. The north bridge runs a bit hot (40-70 celcius), but you can replace the heatsink with a copper fan+heatsink to bring the temps down.
Good motherboard, out of box software is a little buggy

Summary: Optical Media Port is a little sensitive, be careful when plugging anything into it, and if you find you cannot use your keyboard when the computer is booting, turn off the ROG connect switch on the motherboard located to the I/O panel array.
Pros: Phenomenal motherboard, have gotten nothing but the highest performance from it for the past year. The UEFI BIOS is good at nativley detecting AMD or Nvidia Hardware and finding the best "Cool-To-Clock" ratio and scaling itself.
Cons: Drivers out of box are a little wonky, during install had tons of lock ups and bluescreen, both times I have done a fresh windows install on this motherboard, be prepared to be annoyed during install, once the up to date drivers are downloaded from ASUS, it works like a charm.
Summary: I have bought 7-8 ASUS boards and they all have worked well.
Pros: Fast MoBo with lots of bells & whistles. Working well so far.
Cons: 1st board was RMA because BIOS would not flash. ASUS recommended return. This MoBo had been bought returned by someone else previously and the open box was missing a few details--cables & stickers. Replacement board BIOS flashed & is operating flawlessly.
