One of the best amd motherboards
Summary: If you are in need for a amd3+ motherboard don't settle for less. This is one of the best boards for anything. Has so many options that I've had it for sometime and still have not explored them all. If you like to overclock don't waste your time looking get this one.
Summary: This is by far the best motherboard I have ever owned. I paired it with an AMD FX-8350. Pros: -Great build quality. -Great BIOS system and interface. -Beautiful overclocking capabilities. -Sexy all around. Cons: None that I can find. However (Shipping problem), I ordered two pieces of this beast and received one of them with the box cut open. I was very upset since one of them was purchased as a gift for a friend, and of course since I'm buying a NEW one (Both are new).
Summary: It is hard to summarize all the qualities of such a relevant piece for a computer. I have been an Asus buyer for years and have been very satisfied with their products. In fact, I am replacing an Crosshair III Formula with this motherboard. Pros: -Bios is magnificent. You can play with almost any setting. So easy to overclock. -LED panel indicates problems your system might present. Just look for the code and you will know what to correct.
Summary: I ordered this motherboard along with many, many other computer parts (My first build): AMD FX-8350 8-core @4.0GHz Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB @1866MHz EVGA GeForce GTX760 Superclocked 2GB Corsair GS800 800watt power supply unit Seagate 2TB SATAIII Solid State Hybrid Drive TP-LINK Dual-band Wireless Card NZXT Guardian ATX Case After installing the CPU, heatsink, Corsair RAM, and graphics card, I ran a test boot outside of the case and go figure, it failed with error code 50.
Summary: Best Motherboard I have ever had and this is probably my 9th personal build. Serious Gamer-Student. This board has everything you need and nothing you don't. Clear directions and User Manual. Love the LCD readout in the event that you have an error you can flip to the code and fix the problem. Flawless design, perfect placement. The software rocks too. Many overclocking options and a beautiful BIOS screen. You can get as fancy and detailed or simple and automated.
Summary: This thing is awesome. Hands down, that's why it's that price. Only thing it doesn't have is negligible on performance difference. If you don't know what it is already, then it shouldn't matter anyways. This board is worth it. Totally over necessary, but worth it.
Summary: Previously owned the Crosshair Formula IV which was accidently shorted out by someone spilling a soda. The IV performed beyond my needs as does the Formula V and handles anything I can throw at it. The formula V is coupled with an AMD A8-5600K Trinity 3.6GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core and barely get working when I am compiling videos.
Summary: This board goes perfectly with my AMD 8350FX processor! The build quality is amazing, and the red glow is eye catching. It's very easy to overclock in real time with the Digi setting from the ASUS software bundle. However the bios can handle the manual overclock with zero problems. I love this board!!
Summary: This is one of the higher priced high-end gaming motherboards, but there is definitely a reason for that. I have never seen or used such an extremely well built motherboard. And to add to that, it just looks wickedly awesome next to any other. One of the best investments ever made!
