Summary: If you are planning on using the FX-9590 CPU, I would suggest you get a different board than this one. I have built over 30 computers, and this board has given me more problems than any board I have ever used. Some of the reviews will say how great this works with the FX-9590 CPU, and some will say they have issues. Well, I have built three (3) computers, using this board, and the FX-9590 CPU. Of the three, one works perfectly, and runs anything I throw at it.
Summary: I bought this motherboard for it's performance benchmarks and specifications. I bought it because it was supposed to be compatible with the newer PC 2400MHz RAM. But, I purchased PC 2400MHz RAM, and this board does not recognize it as PC 2400MHz RAM. This motherboard only sees the RAM as PC 1333MHz, when set to auto detect. When I try to manually set the BIOS to PC 2400MHz, the system will not start. Not sure if it's the motherboard or the RAM that's at fault.
Summary: This is a replacement board of my Crosshair IV Extreme with built in Bluetooth which is still running I built my wife a desktop and installed that board in to a Raidmax mid tower case it fit really tight I had to force it in to fit. I put this new Board into my Cooler Master HAF 942 for about 3 weeks then I just bought the Thermaltake Level 10 GT "Snow Edition" In both cases the fit was Great plenty of room and lots of great features like my old board.
Awesome overclocker. Installed 8350 bumped voltage up to 1

Summary: Wow..........Awesome overclocker. Installed 8350 bumped voltage up to 1.40v and bang 4.9ghz. Why did i buy that 9590 months ago ? I did not adjust any other setting but DRAM voltage. 2400 should be about 1.6v not default 1.5v and works perfectly in this board. Tested with Hot CPU tester for 30 minutes temps never rose above 36c. I do water cool which is always a good thing. Much better board than my Sabertooth 990fx r1 for overclocking.
Summary: This review might gain more stars depending on how long the next board lasts after this RMA. I owned this board for a little over a month and used the computer at least 30 hours a week and it was working really well... until a couple days ago. I tried booting up the computer and got an FF error on the mother board. I tried several things to try and fix it and nothing worked so I contacted Asus support.
Summary: I bought this motherboard as the base for a new build together with an Asus HD7970-DC2-3GD5 video card about a year ago. The build worked perfectly until 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have been dealing with the most cumbersome support/warranty claim ever. It has been a traumatic experience to say the least. Basically, the system is not sending a video signal to the monitor.
Summary: WOW. Spend a little money for a huge return. Tons of features, good documentation, nicely (protectively) packaged including all the bells & whistles; with extra bells & whistles available for download. I've never had a bad ASUS board and this one is keeping that trend going. I've heard stories about poor interaction between AMD/ASUS/ATI etc. but never experienced them. I'm using 2 older ATI HD4870's and running them Crossfire; so I'm using all 3 and have had no issues.
Summary: This is for both consumers and the NCIX staff. The board in this bundle supports CPU's up to 140W. The 9590 processor paired with this board is a 220W processor. This is likely why the voard required a bios update noted from the previous customer. I would anticipate future problems even with the bios update and suggest folks stick with boards that are rated for this processor.
