Summary: I love this board it has all the quality of a high end product and preforms the same as one to. I would recommend this product to users who need a new kick out of their computers boost in speed and reliability.
Summary: I found the I/O spikes a weird addition - I have never seen this before but from googling it is to help hold the motherboard in place when you're plugging stuff in the back. It did make it slightly harder to put in, just have to push it really tightly in and screw it in. It does have a slot for the case usb 3 to connect to :) It's a very high standard board for a good price!
Good board, let down by RealTek, lousy DVD and shoddy docs

Excerpt: I would have given this board 5 stars and recommended it fully but the problems that the onboard RealTek LAN controller gave me (problems that Asus MUST be aware of) have dropped it a couple of stars. The issue is that, under Windows 7, the LAN controller goes into deep sleep when not in use, a sleep from which it cannot be easily woken. The result is that you have no network connection or, worse, no identifiable network interface.
Summary: this mb keeps telling me my psu is faulty ...its not, after a google search it looks like the mb is the faulty item as there are dozens and dozens of people with the same problem ,and its asus's problem with there anti surge protection. maybe they should address the problem and try fixing it with an update maybe??? UPDATE 21/03/14 MY PC IS ON 24/7 AND IS NEVER TURNED OFF.
Summary: I was looking for a motherboard for a general purpose Windows 8 PC I wanted to build for my study. This Asus board fitted the bill perfectly and I mounted it in a Corsair 400R case with absolutely no problems. Equipped with a 4th generation i5 CPU and 8 Gigabytes of Corsair Vengeance RAM I now have a really stable and speedy PC. Highly recommended.
