Summary: This is a very good motherboard packed with features. I used 3 or 4 of them to build bunch of computers for my office and one for my kid. Fast, reliable and easy to configure. Buy new, do not settle for the used one!
Summary: This item arrived opened. Was advertised as new. After installing board immediately a message appeared that last time used it had overheated!!! This is in the bios on the motherboard so is not a hard drive message. I changed out the harddrive also but no help. Lines and colors through the entire monitor so...I am PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: I use the A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard because it's dummy friendly. It's forgiving of me when I err in flashing a Bios update. Installing hardware is never a problem as you have plenty of info around the net to draw from. The popularity of this MB means there is always someone who's willing to help you with a snafu. I don't know what else to say other then it's just a reliable MB. Thank you.
Summary: I have also had this computer setup with the Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe mobo since 2006, and its still rocking solid. I just had to replace a power supply as it burned out, possibly from being in my basement office area and moisture, but thankfully the mobo and my hardware were not affected. I only have the AMD64 Athlon 4000+ on this right now. I have been checking prices for a dual core socket 939 chip. Most prices come in around $150-$250 on eBay depending.
Summary: I love this board. I bought it on P. Grabber as a refurb and I have used it with an FX-55 since 2005 and it is still faster than many of the comps they sell as "NEW". If I could get the price they quote here, I might part with it, but it is not going to be sold cheap! I never did use the SLI, since I am not a gamer. I have tried an ASUS AM3 board and was disappointed. I think they are hooked on their own hype.
Summary: This is my third motherboard that I have used to build PC's and I love it. It has every feature and is backward compatable with existing hardware... I think it is one of the best ever made........ Cecil D.
