Summary: I'm on board number 2 since the first board went under about 2 weeks after I got it. I finally scraped up enough money to buy a ATI-based ASUS 9600XT VIVO. I figured if I went with ASUS, that would ensure maximum compatibility. WRONG! This motherboard does not get along with this video card.
Summary: Bought two of these mobos, and both of them were DOA. The first one would power on, but no monitor at all no matter what I did. Even tested the processor, Vid Card and Ram in my workin rig and all work fine. And as for the second one, the power LED on the board wouldn't even come on.
Summary: Dead on Arrival, plugged the mb into the case, hooked up ram, cd drive, hd, fan, and power supply. woudlnt boot up, so unplugged everything, even processor, and left only the power supply in, still wouldnt boot took power supply out and put in differ pc, works.
Summary: I dont want to slam Asus, I have used many of thier boards and use 3 in systems in my home right now. But this board has been nothing but problematic. The first board was DOA, no problem it happens and newegg is great with service.
