ASUS A7N266-C Review

18 April 2002
  • Conclusion: The A7N266-E was a solid board. The ASUS A7N266-C just makes the solid board as easier pill to swallow. With a price that is almost a third lower than a full featured 420-D, this 415-D based board has everything you want and nothing you don’t. Performance-wise we were very pleased with this board. Our board revision didn’t come with onboard networking; we highly suggest you find a board that does have it. Just keep your eyes peeled, they do exist.

ASUS A7N266-E Review

11 February 2002
  • Conclusion: I guess this board could be reviewed on two bases. One would be the user who takes the board and uses everything on it. The other person would buy it for the nForce and HyperTransport goodies, while turning off the video, and possibly sound. For the first scenario, it’d be hard to find a better board. For the performance and features, the price is really hard to beat. Trying to assemble a worthy low-end system is a hard task to do without going with onboard parts.
