Summary: I picked up this motherboard for my new build, and it runs excellently with my i7-2600k. It's got a user friendly UEFI interface with tons of overclock options, and is OS agnostic with both arch linux and linux mint installs working flawlessly. With the arch install, I was even able to add the OS to the UEFI boot menu instead of using an external boot loader. Unless you need SLI instead of crossfire, I would recommend you look no further for an 1155 motherboard.
Summary: Used this for a retail store POS build. It boots quickly and has been 100% stable in the two months we've been using it. This is my third AS Rock m/b that I've built with - I'm becoming a big fan!
Summary: Perfect for individuals like myself who are afraid of overclocking. Note that in combination with the i5-3470 3.2 GHz processor, the turbo boost can be increased with this motherboard. If you use an aftermarket CPU cooler, like I do, you can comfortably operate all four cores at 4.0 GHz, even though the processor is not unlocked for overclocking. Well worth the purchase.
Summary: I got this motherboard fairly cheap, my local micro center had a 40 dollars off z77 motherboard if I bought an i5-3570k. So this was pretty cheap. And there isn't anything wrong with this board. 4 slots for ram, pci express 3 and pci express 2 for crossfire and SLI, (no use doing more than 2 way sli/crossfire), and for a decent price. I'm happy with it, its been 90 days and its running just fine.
Summary: If you're short on budget for an OC, or you are not going to OC at all, i recommend this Mobo. It comes with a hard nice box and it is easy to install!!! It comes with some programs ( witch i recommend not to install or just install the OC one). AS Rock is a very good brand.. but if you are looking for a real and long term OC go Xtreme 3 or 4 this one is a good option for stock. If you wanna install the drivers and software in the cd...
