Summary: If using Sandy-Bridge CPU, avoid NickShih OC Profiles past 4.6GHz. I'm sure it works fine with Ivybridge, but with Sandy-Bridge, it crashes after 4.6GHz.
Pros: Ths board has a lot of great quality features inside of it. First and foremost, it is a solid board and doesn't slightly bend like some others. It OC's great, I was able to keep my Sandybridge Processor running at 5.5GHz with no hiccups. I backed it down to 4.8GHz, to preserve the duration of its lifeline.
Pros: Installed a 3770K and 8G 2133 HyperX, Plextor SSD, WD raptor 600G. Board posted first shot, set ram to 2133 XMP. loaded windows 7/64 (115 updates). cool. back to bios set a quick 45 multiplier 5mV offset, 20mV turbo - with the stock intel cooler - runs great, p95 2h blend. temps too hot (duh). Delidded, temps down to 80s... waiting for rest of WC loop to arrive and switch to water. this should easily do 48+ on water and thru the VRMs! rock solid, not one issue so far.
Pros: Everything they says is true.Great High end bore at a unbeatable price. Don't think twice when purchasing this board because its been the best experience i ever had with building pc in my 3 years of experience.
Pros: Very good quality. Had it up and running since 9/20/2012. This is my first build. Everything went right. (Dumb Luck) Less than a $1,000 into the build. I shoe horned into my old Dell XPS Gen2. Reused old case, power supply, Fans. I am a Fire Sprinkler Designer for Industrial and Commercial Buildings. The 3D Autosprink Design program I use will bring most top of the line computer to their knees. I work 12 to 16 hour a day almost everyday. Have three monitors now, two 2...
Cons: Wish the bio's was easier. But it just could be me. I am a old dog.
Summary: i though the yellow theme will look awful on my system. until i unboxed it personally, honestly it look far more better in person than the 1080p youtube videos. i used to have the msi mpower but bios died after 10 days, i wanted to try different brand than asus. my msi OC is max at 4.5 and auto 4.2ghz. with the same part except the mobo the result are 4.6ghz and 4.8 by just using auto profile with asrock oc formula. so far been using it for like 2 weeks. so far so good.
Pros: great for overclocking, looks , solid build
Cons: price, its cheaper if you live in asia. if your not a big fan of yellow.
