Great price, not for the looks.

  • Summary: Great seller, responded almost immediately when I requested more detailed tracking information. This is the only z75/77 motherboard I could find new at a reasonable price considering their age. Most are around $450. The actual product came in perfect condition.

Nice Revival Board

ARTHUR A., Newegg
  • Summary: Board is shorter than standard ATX, but holes in the case fit it perfectly.
  • Pros: Board has all the necessary parts. I have a graphics card for gaming, so all the expensive boards with on board video are a waste of money and power. Price is great. This is a new board to host old parts from a failed board and therefore the revival. Plenty of screws and stand-offs.
  • Cons: It is terribly hard to put the case connectors on that nine pin header. Another manufacturer had a part that you connected the case cable too and then placed the part on the header. Much easier to use.

  • Pros: - well designed and stable - 2 PCI x16 lanes - sufficient fan headers for most use - I like the ASRock OC BIOS even on non-K processors
  • Cons: - would be nice to see all SATA headers at SATA III at this point

Older product, but it works!

Richard D., Newegg
12 June 2015
  • Summary: This board is actually replacing the Z77 version for me that shorted out after an unfortunate alcohol-related incident. Thankfully, most everything else survived. Initially concerned when my original hard drive of choice (WD Black2 Dual Drive) was not recognized in BIOS, but found out shortly it...
  • Pros: Everything is working as expected. Gives an aging system one last hurrah! No surprise on the board. Included driver CD got me up and running efficiently. Nice standard layout. Love VirtuMVP, will suffice until I do a complete upgrade after Skylake and DirectX 12 goes into full swing. Recognized a...
  • Cons: Minor gripe at most, but I'm not a fan of the way the SATA connectors are arranged. They face into each other, and I prefer all the connecters to be facing the same direction. But the ports work, so not worth docking the score
