Summary: This was the first motherboard from ASRock. I used to build with ASUS or Gigabyte boards. I decided to try this one for the floppy disk support and something new to play with. This has 6GB SATA and USB 3 support. After I upgraded BIOS, floppy disk support disappeared from BIOS, but emailing to the support solved the issue in 1 day. Not bad.
Summary: I purchased this MOBO 5/11/2012, after a board from another manufacturer failed. Assembly and installation were a breeze, and the board has been stable with no problems from the beginning. I did not have the boot problems noted by another reviewer--which is not to dispute his problems: they just didn't appear on the board I received.
Summary: I purchased this for my whs 2011 system. It was easy to set up. I did have to change the memory speed in the bios to get the 8GB of ram to run at full speed, but other than that I don't have any complaints so far. I did purchase a ram set that is listed on the asrock site as compatible with this model. I liked the fact that this had usb3.0 and 6 sata ports. I have all of them filled up with drives.
Summary: I have this motherboard and according to ASROCK technical support it has a bios problem - that is after working for two weeks with them to resolve the issue. The bios keeps defaulting to the DVD drive as boot primary, no matter how often I change it. Then it won't go past the DVD drive and boot to the hard drive if the DVD drive is empty or if it is disabled then it ends up with "disabled" as the primary boot device. There are no BIOS updates as of 3/12/12.
Summary: The motherboard is not a bad motherboard! Despite being the first review, there are some decent reviews on newegg about this product. It's pretty stable, you can overclock easily, and its' only fault would be the fact that it only has 1 pci-express slot and only 2 ram slots. I was on a budget, so this motherboard does the trick. If you never plan to have two video cards, you can't go wrong.
