Nice little board

Everitt W., Newegg
24 June 2012
  • Summary: I bought this after I upgraded my TV and realized that my old dvd player looked like blown up youtube videos on it. I wanted to see if I could build a full PC I could hook up to the TV for about $150.
  • Pros: Dirt cheap. Quiet.
  • Cons: None really. So long as your expectations of the combo are in line with what it is, a low power cheap little setup perfect for the average computer user NOT a power user/gamer.

Seek another part

Dinora H., Newegg
22 May 2012
  • Summary: Run Away!!!
  • Pros: economical decent price
  • Cons: Tried running 32 bit version of windows 7 cpu running way to high while idle. I purchased this combo with attempts to have it run most basic web browsing and it can't even handle that task. look elsewhere. It's very poor.

ASRock PV530

Kevin D., Newegg
14 February 2012
  • Summary: Very simple and easy to get running just read the manual.
  • Pros: I don't know why those who purchased and wrote reviews on this motherboard combo had such a hard time. The head cashier at wallmark could do it blind folded.
  • Cons: None

Functional

Joseph F., Newegg
1 February 2012
  • Summary: Haven't played with the overclocking, yet, but the setup is stable, and does what I need it to.
  • Pros: Feels like an upgrade from the old setup I was using for a file server. Gives me two SATA-II ports. This thing is quiet.
  • Cons: No 64-bit processor, no PATA ports...the latter of which I knew when I bought it. It is slow, and the IGP sucks. The Win7 WEI for the processor is only 1.7.

Hey 60.00 to get back in business sounded good to me. I had to try a lot of things before this worked with XP(two & half days of fighting).
  • Pros: it dose work eventually.
  • Cons: very frustrating build, it needs better instructions and a bios with a better help section
