ASRock P67 Extreme6 Solid Full Featured Board

Mauro serrano, Amazon
16 December 2012
  • Summary: Pros: *** 6 months later and this board is still performing admirably *** Same architecture as the more expensive P67 Fatality Pro without the fatility pro branding or the ide and specialized mouse ports. Lots of features, lots of sata and usb ports, lots of cpu fans ports, and is a great overclocker (booted up the first time and easily overclocked my i5 to 4.8ghz first shot) Hot swapping hard drive does work in AHCI on both sata controllers!

Does the job

Sussman "Sussman", Amazon
20 August 2012
  • Summary: Overall a good stable motherboard, that said anyone can at times get a duff board, and that can apply for any branded Motherboards out there. I really liked the in built diagnostic code de-bug display, it really helps when putting the PC together and for those who wish to over clock their system this tool will help .

Impressive motherboard, except for USB 3.0 drivers

A. Chee, Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: This motherboard has got to be one of the best ones I have ever used. It has plenty of SATA and USB ports, nice BIOS for overclocking, and pretty easy to install. My only problem is with the USB 3.0 controller by Etron. I cannot install the USB 3.0 drivers or else I'll get a BSOD. It only happens with certain USB devices. For me, it happened with my Turtle Beach Ear Force PX21 headphones.

Asrock P67 Extreme6 B3 ATX Motherboard

Kindle Customer, Amazon
16 February 2012
  • Summary: Initially I was very happy with the motherboard. Installed all my components and it ran great for 30 days and then died on me. I thought it might be the power supply and changed that with one I knew was working and still dead. I put back the old motherboard (An Asus p68)and it booted right away. Considering I paid over $ 150.00 dollars for the AsRock I am very disapointed. I am over the 30 days now and will have to fight with Asrock to get a replacement.

Fastest MOBO I've ever used.

Caleb, Amazon
30 December 2011
  • Summary: This board is amazing, and for a base-line geek, it completes all my needs. This was coupled with a few other awesome parts for my first build. I have to say, taking the time to really research and find a good setup was key. With the installed components (i5 Pentium unlocked, Radeon HD 6870) it is super fast, and startup is about 20 seconds from off to surfing the web. Running W7, and no complaints.

I guess you can get a third party tester. However, its nice to know it is there and saves time and hassle.
