Pros: nice layout, some expansion available. not bad bios
Cons: not all that compatible with 64bit XP. Some drivers will work off the disk (maybe one or two) the rest had to get from windows update. audio drivers even thought they say they are 64bit compatible they are not and I can't find new ones anywhere
Pros: Easy setup under XP. Good power consumption features. Was bought as a replacement board for a dying PC.
Cons: 1st board died within the 1st week. Turned off the machine and it would not post. Using 2nd board now for a little over a week and everything is working so far. On board ethernet is only 100Mbps.
Summary: Fortunately we do not use music off CDs anymore.
Pros: Nice Clean layout. Easy board to install. Running Win 7 Home. Worth the price
Cons: Install CDs do NOT install Win 7 drivers. Must download them from TW and that is SLOW. Altho pictures, manual and doc show a CD1 connection on the motherboard for music off CDs there is none on the motherboard. It appears the motherboard and the driver disks are not matched for compatibility.
Summary: I wouldn't buy this motherboard again. It's a motherboard that's beyond it's time. Honestly.. no gigabit? Boards have had that for like 7 years now, and this board can't manage it. Plus there's no warranty.
Summary: Like I said not a bad board, but definately not a gaming board. When I initially had the system built for me, wasn't planning on doing any gaming. I knew it wasn't an uber gaming mobo, but I didn't think it would be like it was. Its an age old lesson. Buy more than what you need.
Pros: Good board. For all the features you get, the price is very reasonable. Has room for 4 Sata Drives out of the box. Easy to set up, cmos posted w/o a problem. Vista 64 bit works w/o any issues.
Cons: I repeat, if you're going to run any kind of high end game, do NOT get this mobo!!! I had this board, and decided to try to run team fortress 2 on it, and it was a snail. My 3Dmark06 scores averaged 6800 with my gtx-260 and phenom 9600 black edition cpu. When I changed to an Asus M3N78-EM board, ...
