  • Cons: Started having sounds issues. No sound on bootup. Restarting usually fixed it.

Dont unlock for long unless..

Gaillard J., Newegg
24 November 2013
  • Pros: Great price , though now with sata 6 out, consider your options. I've not had any issues with it short of making note NOT to unlock last core unless you are willing to take the risk. I also purchased this because it had ESata which many now are saying is better than USB3. Check around as I did to...
  • Cons: sata 3 only, Do not UNLOCK the last core on your amd cpu ( that this MOBO allows), as doing so risks damage to your system. The directions don't tell you the 'unlocking' the last core is 'overclocking' which is subtle distinction, so beware.

Okay MB

Sebastien S., Newegg
22 March 2013
  • Summary: -for the cost this mb is okay, though more sata connections, better cooling etc. would be nice.
  • Pros: -still runs 3 years+ after purchase -room for 2 gpus/crossfire -works fine with the Athlon II 240 I put in it, though it cannot push it very far -140W cpu support is decent
  • Cons: -can't really push hardware too much with this board -one gpu lane is x4, not that I plan to crossfire with the CPU I have though

First one was lemon, replacement working well

Anil K., Newegg
22 September 2012
  • Pros: The first motherboard I received was blown away due to a faulty power supply that I also purchased from Newegg. I asked for a replacement, and that has been working very well so far. This was a very nice motherboard last year, a very good value for money.
  • Cons: Outdated now!

Not bad ASRock

J. Thompson, Amazon
16 September 2012
  • Summary: Bought this board in June 2011 for a budget gaming PC; considering the specifications for price it was the best option at the time. I also intended to set up a RAID 1 to back up data. Since then the only problem I have gotten was setting up the RAID.

Great price

Armand C., Newegg
4 March 2012
  • Summary: Cheap Vrms 5+1 phase. No crazy o/c for me. Super disappointed with the 2nd pci-e slot. Can't complain though 60$
  • Pros: Cheap. Supports 1600mhz ram. Great budget Pc.
  • Cons: I did not read enough. The 2nd Pci-e slot runs through software rather then hardware its really an x4 slot not an x16. Poor performance during crossfire.

  • Pros: -Cheap -Easy to overclock on -Bios is easy to use
  • Cons: -Cannot get my RAM to run at full speed. I have 4gb Ripjaws and 4gb of Vengeance, both are 1600, both are 1.5 volts, but for some reason I cannot get them to run at 1600, they are stuck running at 1033.

A Nice Value Motherboard

Alexander N., Newegg
3 March 2012
  • Summary: I got this thing for my new gaming PC: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @ 3.8GHz Radeon HD 6850 8GB DDR3 @1600MHz (I might upgrade to 16) 64GB Torqx 2 SSD ASRock M3a770DE Cooler Master RC 310 Elite (Case)
  • Pros: This is a great motherboard for the price. It has tons of features that other, much more expensive motherboards have, and allows for many upgrades in the future (RAID, CrossFireX). The overclocking utility in the BIOS is very easy to use. The onboard audio works great with my logitech x-530 5.1 s...
  • Cons: The first one was DOA. I got everything set up, turned it on, and nothing happened. After a little tweaking I was able to get it to POST, but then one of the capacitors popped, and it died. On the brighter side the RMA process was relatively painless, and the new one has been working fine ever si...
