Summary: I built a HTPC with this board and it works a treat. No problems. Easy setup and well designed. I have Win 7 running on it with a SSD but I bet it is even faster with linux. Using XBMC for the media player.
Summary: Do not buy this motherboard. It worked for 3 months then it died. I have an I5 3750K with 8G of RAM an 650 GTI and 1T of hard drive, all that powered by a Thermaltake 750W power suplly. The AsRock motherboard worked fine then it died, I relaced all the pieces even the power supply and nothing, it was this piece of crap that died. Ps.: Don't buy this!
Summary: Have been using it for 10 months. Great deal and features for the price. The computer is used for everyday mundane tasks - no games or movies - YouTube at the most. Performance has been rock solid. HDMI output doesn't display with a known good Acer H235H monitor. Fortunately, the DVI-D output worked just fine, and, therefore, didn't return the motherboard back. Use every inbuilt feature, without any add-on cards.
Summary: I also notice a lower score windows 7 index score adding more than 8gb of memory so I flashed and updated the bios which easy very easy with no problems. It runs cool, 33 celcius always, I also Virtu and combined both graphics cards and had a lot more fps in wow and other games as well as faster reaction times.
Pros: The board was easy to install and operate and works with my kingston hyperx 1600mhz memory, I have an i5-3570 3.4ghz cpu @3.8ghz in turbo mode, 16 gigs of ram, 120 gb kingston hyperx 3k and pny gtx 670 2b, 650 watt psu.
Cons: I had to go into the bios to allow it to run 1600mhz memory which was very easy for anyone to do if you know how to read and follow a couple simple directions from google. I don't think an average user would notice the difference from default 1333mhz to 1600 anyhow so I couldn't call it a con, but as a serious gamer, you need ever bit you can get.
Summary: Bought this to replace an Asus board that died after a month of use. This one was cheaper, and apparently of higher quality (it has yet to die). Easy installation, good BIOS interface, comprehensive instructions, better value. I did note that the audio connector was strangely positioned right next to the the pci 3 slot. As a result, my video card squishes the cord. Strange but otherwise irrelevant oversight.
Pros: Board was good until about 4 days ago and it decided to just stop working after a little over a month of use... Tried emailing them the day that it happened to get a RMA started and still no response from them.
Cons: Emailed them 4 days ago through the technical support and through the email address that they provide to get a more immediate response and still received no help. Hopefully this clears up soon...
