Summary: I used this to build a HTPC and it is still working wonderfully. I actually bought 2 of these. One for myself and one for my father. I did not use the on board CIR header for my build, but I did for my father's build. The CIR header pins are slightly different than the INTEL standard, but with a little bit of modification to the wiring leads on the IR kit, it works perfectly.
Summary: Using this for an HTPC build with and i2-2105. I didn't need anything fancy since I'm using the on chip video and no graphics card. This is a perfect board for a build like this and has been running great with W8 and an SSD
Summary: I built two identical machines, each with the H67M-ITX, an i3-2100, using the Silverstone SG07 case. I use one for my desktop, with 8 GB RAM, running Ubuntu 12.04. The other is used as an HTPC with 4 GB RAM and runs Mythbuntu 12.04. There were no issues at all running Linux on this board. The HTPC uses HDMI for audio and video. I did not use a dedicated video card, as the integrated graphics on the i3 seem to be good enough.
Summary: If you are building a HTPC or just a SFF system do not overlook Asrock. They make great itx boards. I now own two of these, and they are awesome. Great price for all the features of this board, and free super saver shipping from amazon make this a true gem. Pair this with an ssd, windows 7, 4 to 8 gigs of ram, and any 1155 processor and you will be happy.
Summary: I have not been able to successfully build a Windows 7 x64 PC with this motherboard. I've been building PCs for 20 years and even with that experience I am unable to complete the build and get Windows successfully installed. First, this motherboard is somehow not compatible with the DC-DC power board in my mini PC case. The motherboard can be powered by other power supplies and the power supply can power other motherboards but the two are incompatible.
Summary: Best value for money Mini ITX board out there. Works great with a Sugo SG05B, Core i5 2500k and a GEIL 1x8GB 1333 RAM. + Lets you set adaptive fan speed for both the case fan and the CPU fan. - Wont let you turn off the case fan completely. + Has two USB 3.0 ports. - But no USB 3.0 headers, which means you cant use your cases' front USB 3.0 ports * Supposed to have the ability to over clock the k CPU's, haven't given that a go yet.
Summary: Everything works and seems to be of high quality. I was probably a little rougher with this product than I should have been (this was my first computer build) and yet everything still works great.
Summary: very good motherboard i wish it was 70$ .ITX should be cheap, well 3D Bios very nice and fast and stable i installed i3 2120 very fast on a small apex case for HTPC also good for gaming if you put high end graphic card. for HTPC on board graphic is engough windows score 4.6 for desktop and for gaming 5.8 with latest windows update graphic driver .
Summary: This is a great ITX board for a Hack Mini build. I was able to get everything working with a slightly tweaked DSDT with which I was able to add in functional audio to the HDMI output using OSX Lion 10.7.3 Paired this with an Intel i3-2105 which supports HD-3000
