Does not support Ivy Bridge unless you also have Sandy Bridge CPU
18 May 2013
Summary: This is the first and, most likely, last ASRock mobo I will likely buy. While the board looks great and has all the I/O features I desire, it does not work with the Ivy Bridge CPU's which have been shipping for over a year. According to their tech support FAQ's the board does support Ivy Bridge, but only after you update the bios.
Summary: This board rocks! My remote that came with it doesn't work, haven't had time to mess with it, but probably will not, since I have a very nice one that I really like and use with it. I use this remote, just love it. Windows 7 Vista XP Media Center MCE PC Remote Control and Infrared Receiver for Home, Premium and Ultimate Edition .
board was functioning, what more could you ask for?

Summary: it was great, everything worked and booted without problems. The bios had plenty of selections to modify how you want your parts to run. 4 memory slots, multiple usb front i/o ports. Most importantly, they provide you with a front USB3 i/o adapter!!! that is just amazing. This doesn't end, they also give you a tv receiver dongle and a remote! the surprise just keeps tacking on. Reason I gave it 4 star is because the white plastic slots.
Summary: Mobo would not boot. Removed items one at a time to isolate, found bad memory. Booted up, installed Win7 but no LAN. Updated drivers for LAN, flash BIO's with latest version, nothing. Clean install of windows twice, nothing. Yellow LAN light. After giving it my best shot I ran out of time (don't have endless hours of to troubleshoot and play) and threw in the towel, returned for ASUS Board. The Realtec LAN driver is buggy for sure.
