Summary: Ideal board for a home theater PC or gen purpose unit for the kids to use.
Pros: Price, CD contained manual & necessary drivers, simply to setup. It's been several years in regular use by my boy, and it's performed reliably. I'm not quick to give reviews, but after years of use... I'd buy another or the current iteration if building another gen-purpose PC.
Cons: none really. It's a thin low end board, with limited memory slots & such, but it is what it is and wishing for the features of a high end workstation or serious gaming board is pointless.
Summary: I expect another ASRock board to come back my way via the computer company's RMA. I'll give that a go and see where it takes me. I have 7 more months on my warranty. All's good with the computer manufacturer so far.
Pros: I got 4.5 months out of the board. Small, compact. Plenty of USB ports ( 3 x 3.0 and 5 x 2.0), an HD Audio jack, an RJ-45 ethernet port, 1 x DVI-D and 1 x S-Sub (VGA) port.
Cons: It had all kinds of hiccups during that 4.5 months. It was the motherboard of a mid-level gaming computer I bought in mid October. I was playing BF 4 on it and noted I was getting some artifacting, ghosts, stutters and the occasional drop from the game while playing so I monitored the heat a bit ...
Summary: after 2 rmas and a total of 3 boards all the same issue i really have to say i'm never buying an asrock board again i only got this motherboard cause it was really cheap and for a budget but after rmaing this motherboard twice i cold of used that money to pay half the price of a better motherboard
Pros: i gotta admit when it works its pretty solid for an apu/gpu dual graphics configuration
Cons: i've gone through 3 of these motherboards first one lasted about 3 months then started resting randomly even in bios the second one same thing lasted about the same amount of time about 3 months then died out and the third one i didn't even bother using it cause by that time i bought a better mot...
Summary: I have had this in my Linux server for a while now, ZERO down time! Really, it has been almost 12 months and I have only rebooted to update my kernel! I do real time backups and encryption as well as real time transcoding, so it isn't a light workload.
Pros: Easy to use tough and durable. This mobo supported everything I wanted and it is a great product especially for the price.
Cons: Out of Stock. I needed a replacement because i bought a new PSU and plugged in the wrong cable to the CPU power on the motherboard and that killed the board. But it is out of stock which is disappointing because I had to buy an ASUS motherboard and ASUS sucks.
Summary: Fit in midsized case as wanted. Booted right up with a AMD A6 APU .. performing well... I'm running 5 systems with ASRock Mother Boards ... all using AMD processors. 2 linux ( 1 test server 1 program test for conversion) 2 running Win 7 ..
Cons: Board was DoA, couldnt get it to power up at all. Tested the power supply on another board and booted fine. This is the second time I have ordered a board from this company and the 2nd time it has been DoA. I think its time to stay away from AS Rock like its the plague.
