Summary: When they work, which is most of the time, they work great. When they don't, a lot of soul searching about whether or not going with ASRock was a good idea. It wasn't & I'm looking for three replacement motherboards; motherboards without Etron chips.
Pros: Lotta SATA ports, Raid 5
Cons: Drivers from Hell... The Raid software that came with the motherboard was the wrong version, but a search of the Intel web site found the correct version. At least that was immediately obvious as it flat didn't work. I've built three computers with these, one for me & one for each of my sons. All...
Summary: After my first review, you can see the response to contact them if I had any issues. Well, about a week after that, I tried. My emails might as well have been sent underground, for all the good they did.
Pros: I wrote a review below, a few months ago. This one takes place after using it for a while. IDE and RAID work just jim-dandy fine. Network ports, USB, all seem functional. No CPU (i5-3570) or RAM issues - after BIOS flash, of course. We won't go there. Plenty of expandability - and I've loaded min...
Cons: I'm about sick of this thing. As stated previously, who needs 20 USB ports? And the BIOS flashing nuisance. But there are other port issues. The back-panel port cluster is too far back on the board. All rear ports are too far in for some of them to connect with. Namely, the eSATA port is unusable...
Cons: Seems to kill my CPUs, on the third CPU, system worked for 3 months, turned it off one night and then no video and 00 code on the board. Replaced CPU system worked great, this time lasted only 2 months and did same thing. Reached out ASROck tech support and they were no help.
Cons: i cant install graphic drivers on this mobo, i bought evgn 670 with is not knowing it will turn to returning for store credit, tryed all set up didnt work always going back to standard vga drivers. i check 670 on my friend comp works perfect
Seems like a good idea. Just not ready for prime time
Christopher C., Newegg

Summary: Has a nice feature set if you can get one that works out of the box. Was happy with a Z77 Pro-4 I got a month earlier but Not at all happy with ASRock now. Won't purchase another board from them for some time.
Pros: Well packed and laid out pretty well.
Cons: Came to me with a faulty power button (mother board mounted) so I could never get the board to come to life. Picked up another bum Z77 locally after a return to Newegg and that one was no good for another reason. Switched to another manufacturers board and the parts I have work great on that one.
Summary: Motherboard came defective but when i returned it, I got a reply of "You bent the cpu slot pins". 1 - I built over 100 computers and I know to be very careful when installing the cpu to the motherboard by now. 2 - Called up ASROCK and they were the same way.
Pros: Looks pretty....and that is all.
Cons: didnt have a chance to test it to have Cons.
