Summary: I bought this motherboard to be part of my budget gaming build. I paired it with an i3-3220 which is absolutely killer in games. Obviously, this motherboard is not built for gaming, in fact it is built for business, but it does have a gaming LAN port, which prioritizes your gaming packets so your latency should be alot lower if you had other programs running. That said, I have had no problems with this motherboard since I've had it in the past 6 months.
Summary: I have used ASRock motherboards in the past, and they have always worked very well. I needed to replace a micro-ATX motherboard that had fried. So, I decided to go with this ASRock board. Installation was easy. The utilities on the CD installed correctly after installing Windows 7 (I won't touch Windows 8, at this point). I've experienced many motherboard utilities that just won't run properly. So, having everything install correctly is very pleasing.
Summary: Wish there was a mention of the onboard video and the Ivy bridge processor...
Pros: Nice small form factor motherboard... Easy to setup 6Gb/s SATA connector's very nice plus
Cons: *Careful if you purchase: Intel Core i5-3350P Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.3GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 with this MB... The onboard video is not compatible with this MB and you will have to have purchase a video card (Received this information from ASRock support) *Not very many slots for expansion, make sure you don't plan on adding a lot of cards before purchasing...
Summary: I have to deduct an egg because of the audio software issue. Asrock should have given me a heads up on this because I thought I had a bad board. This could have been an RMA situation and a very bad review if I hadn't stumbled upon the solution to the audio problem. Better documentation is needed.
Pros: Overall, I'm really happy with this board. For the price it has everything I need and then some. I won't need to upgrade for at least a couple of years. Paired with an Intel i3-3225 and 8GB of RAM, my computing experience just became awesome.
Cons: I had trouble with the RealTek audio seeing my speakers or headphones or anything plugged into the audio ports. I finally figured out that you have to go into the Realtek audio software, speaker configuration tab, and click on the little folder icon. Then check the box that says "Disable front panel jack detection". After I did that, it immediately saw the speakers I had plugged into the rear jack. Realtek, why did you make me sweat like that? I thought I had a defect...
Summary: Nothing much to say really, other than it's a solid board and comes with neat features for the price. I just needed a cheap motherboard that works and ASRock has come a long way now that they actually make solid motherboards. However, I still have one little issue, which is the 24 pin connector. I should have inspected the mobo thoroughly but it was too late when I bought it.
Pros: - Solid construction, - Stable, - Has USB 3.0
Summary: Got this board for great price from amazon warehouse Well built uefi bios, 4 3.0 usb ports,Variety of display ports, Asrock Good Quality, defeintely something that will last for years & give you good performances. Cons - *No PCI express which in the future is going to be the standard for every add on card & this board came out in the recent year knowing that.
