Summary: Definitely, but unless you're getting an AM3+ mobo, do not expect support for any non-AM3 for too long. Your extended warranty will only cover an obsolete board in the end.
Pros: Simple to hookup and install. UEFI interface is really easy to understand and navigate. Has the ability to control your overclock functions. Ran this mobo for 4 years and currently still running it with Llano Black Edition cpu. Nothing too special about the mobo against higher end models, but it ...
Cons: HDMI port went out pretty quick, including constant loss of driver setup. Only to show up on another boot up. ASRock quit making this board early on, so support pretty well vanished overnight. Even with these problems, the Dual-DVI supported audio/video through HDMI (So still 5 stars) ASRock info...
Summary: had to build two computers to run various tasks such as parts lookup, parts research, parts ordering, running Quickbooks and Quickbooks Point of Sale. Yes, we played SW:TOR, WoW, LoL, and Warhammer 40K on them during the winter months when OPE buisiness was slow, like one or two customers a day...
Pros: Easy setup, UEFI bios, works great Had my boss order two of these for the shop back in May 2012, I picked the parts, made a wish list, he ordered the parts. Both of them are running strong to this day. One is actually being used as a server 24/7.
Summary: Paired with my AMD Athlon ii x4 631, OC my Ram from 1066 to +1333 and my CPU from 2.6Gz to 3.2Gz no problem what so ever. Easy to update and work around with UEFI Bios (Dont be afraid it is easy to figure out). Well worth the Money, Great Mobo especially for price
Cons: None really. Sata cables are also a little close together, some get lose and cause connection loss to my hard drive, easy fix though, just wiggle it, Might be cable. Happens very rarely.
Summary: Took it out of the box and installed a A10 6790K. I put a HD6670 graphics card in and run dual graphics. So far I have played WOW and LoL on high settings with no issues. This board is a real good bang for the buck. I would not hesitate to buy another one.
Summary: Generally using the APU while mining is very qwerky -- i cant even get it to work on my FM2 biostar board. also discrete graphic temps and clock speeds are generally not accessible.
Pros: I bought this board for an hybrid gaming / mining rig. I have two r9 290x in it with an A10-5800k. I have the monitor hooked up to the motherboard and bios set to apu for primary graphics. I game from the APU while the r9 290x mine 1900kh. when im done gaming, the apu chips in another 46kh.
Cons: considering the price, none that i can think of.
Summary: Im sad to see this board is gone but Im sure its been replaced by another board that is just as good if not better.
Pros: I know this board is discontinued but this was my first total build and I picked this board on the good reviews. The icing on the cake was the fact that ASRock posting comments on reviews to help people troubleshoot their issues. I didnt see much of that from other companies. I love that kind of ...
Summary: Bought this mobo for a new Win7 HTPC build. Works great has plenty of slots for the typical HTPC. Good selection of I/O ports. My only complaint and it's a minor one is that it does not have an on board USB 3.0 header.
