Summary: Definitely, but unless you're getting an AM3+ mobo, do not expect support for any non-AM3 for too long. Your extended warranty will only cover an obsolete board in the end.
Pros: Simple to hookup and install. UEFI interface is really easy to understand and navigate. Has the ability to control your overclock functions. Ran this mobo for 4 years and currently still running it with Llano Black Edition cpu. Nothing too special about the mobo against higher end models, but it ...
Cons: HDMI port went out pretty quick, including constant loss of driver setup. Only to show up on another boot up. ASRock quit making this board early on, so support pretty well vanished overnight. Even with these problems, the Dual-DVI supported audio/video through HDMI (So still 5 stars) ASRock info...
Summary: Wish it would have worked will think twice before purchasing this type of board.
Pros: Excited to get the board had all I wanted on it and a great price.
Cons: Got the board waited a couple weeks before installing it and found it DOA. Tried everything to get it to work, but had no luck. Since I waited to long was not able to return it for a replacement.
Summary: had to build two computers to run various tasks such as parts lookup, parts research, parts ordering, running Quickbooks and Quickbooks Point of Sale. Yes, we played SW:TOR, WoW, LoL, and Warhammer 40K on them during the winter months when OPE buisiness was slow, like one or two customers a day...
Pros: Easy setup, UEFI bios, works great Had my boss order two of these for the shop back in May 2012, I picked the parts, made a wish list, he ordered the parts. Both of them are running strong to this day. One is actually being used as a server 24/7.
Summary: Paired with my AMD Athlon ii x4 631, OC my Ram from 1066 to +1333 and my CPU from 2.6Gz to 3.2Gz no problem what so ever. Easy to update and work around with UEFI Bios (Dont be afraid it is easy to figure out). Well worth the Money, Great Mobo especially for price
Cons: None really. Sata cables are also a little close together, some get lose and cause connection loss to my hard drive, easy fix though, just wiggle it, Might be cable. Happens very rarely.
Summary: Don't just buy any ol' memory like what the spec sheet says! Noooooo. Supports "DDR3 2600+(OC)/2400(OC)/2133(OC)/1866/1600/1333/1066/800"? Bull!! ASROCK has a VERY specific 'tested' memory type list on their website. But who cares? Those didn't work either!!
Pros: There are pros about this board? Like what? It fits in the recycle bin? OK, sure does!
Cons: This is the second board I've received from newegg on this board. BOTH DEAD ON ARRIVAL. If I write any more about this HOS it would seem like I had some respect for it - which I don't.
Summary: first I'm outside the US and never had issues with any Amazon product, until now...first of all they sent me an incomplete and even used product (sealed box but no i/o backplate, no sata cables, cpu fan holder removed and the cherry of this pie: traces of thermal paste)..
Summary: Took it out of the box and installed a A10 6790K. I put a HD6670 graphics card in and run dual graphics. So far I have played WOW and LoL on high settings with no issues. This board is a real good bang for the buck. I would not hesitate to buy another one.
Summary: Generally using the APU while mining is very qwerky -- i cant even get it to work on my FM2 biostar board. also discrete graphic temps and clock speeds are generally not accessible.
Pros: I bought this board for an hybrid gaming / mining rig. I have two r9 290x in it with an A10-5800k. I have the monitor hooked up to the motherboard and bios set to apu for primary graphics. I game from the APU while the r9 290x mine 1900kh. when im done gaming, the apu chips in another 46kh.
Cons: considering the price, none that i can think of.
Summary: ASRock REALLY needs to invest in a chat support because this email thing takes far too long (over a week with no response)
Pros: Nothing at this point.
Cons: This is a follow up to the instructions that ASRock put in my last review. I actually got the system working just fine in windows and all of the drivers were installed. When I shut the system down (power unplugged) and installed my 7950 3Gb and powered the system on nothing, no video or boot. Not...
Summary: tired contacting support on day 1 of owning it and they have yet to get back to me almost a week later, pathetic.
Pros: All the good features you would want on a board.
Cons: DOA out of box. Hooked everything up and waited to put a video card in so I used onboard video, tried HDMI and DVI, no video from the A8-5500. CPU works just fine as it works in my other system. Tried with no HDD/ODD and one memory DIMM, still nothing. Will not happy as I have has ASRock board be...
