This was one of the worst motherboards I have ever had
21 July 2014
Summary: This was one of the worst motherboards I have ever had. I got it because it is one of the few that actually supports the AMD FX9590. It is definitely NOT for a beginner or even the casual computer builder. After installing it and putting in the CPU, memory, and video card, I loaded Windows 7 and none of the USB ports worked at all. I restarted and loaded the drivers that came with the board and still nothing. The Amazon return system works great though.
Summary: Terrible absolutely terrible, the BIOS looked like it was made by a child, it had very limited functionality, I had come from a Asus crosshair V Formula to this is like having a ferrari and then been given a morris minor. worst mistake I ever made, This motherboard almost fried my CPU, with over-voltage all on stock setting, at one point it was putting 1.6v into the CPU according to the terrible software that came bundled with the board, 5-5-5 more like 0-0-0 the worst...
Summary: This motherboard runs extremely hot & I mean fire hazard hot...... Seems to be a ASRock issue with there new boards. I use a Corsair H100i water cooler & that couldn't even stop the CPU reaching nearly 100'c! I put my CPU back in my MSI-990fxa-gd65 motherboard & the heat issue was gone. This issue only happened when playing games or benchmarking which is a deal breaker.
