Summary: Just purchased this MoBo with an AMD FX8350 CPU and Rosewill Fortress 750 PS. I was immediately amazed at how the MoBo works, the BIOS screen, power save, and instant boot features are all leaps above what I am used to. I don't overclock, but I am running solid state over a UPS. This thing is great.
Summary: My Asus Sabertooth board went extinct after installing a new video card. I installed the card, it booted once, autoloaded drivers then came up with a CPU-LED error I couldn't clear. I'm going to be sending it back on their 5 yr warranty. In the meantime, I thought I'd try out this Asrock board. Watching Youtube video on it, it looked impressive - and it is. It boots faster than any board I've ever used. My ssd main drive is on the desktop and ready in under 30 seconds.
Summary: I bought mine 'slightly' used from an amazon seller. I know why it was returned. The bios was all messed up. As soon as I updated the bios, everything worked great. This thing does exactly what you need. SLI, sata, audio, etc. I bought a asus sonar card for audio, it's just that much better than any on-board sound 'chip/software'. I recommend this motherboard to any AMD cpu owner. I have the 8150 8core installed and it runs sweet! 20C at idle on my watercooling setup.
Summary: great board. bought it for the am 3+ also both sata and ide can be used at same time. have always had good experience with as-rock current running system : am3+ 4.0 GHz,64 gig g.skill ripjaws ram, dual amd radon 6770 video cards in a RAIDMAX Agusta case runs win xp and linux mint great!!
Summary: I bought this one to replace my older board and then ended up replacing everything in the computer and the case so it was a new computer I never know when to stop.... anyway excellent board no issues with it at all very fast and lots and lots of usb and other ports including legacy disk ports serial and parallel ports.
Summary: Works Great! It's only been several months but i've had no problems. My old hard drive with windows 7 ran straight way with this new MB. I had to reactivate windows (reenter the security code) but that's it! No $$$ spent at all!!
