Solid as a ROCK!

Steve Kelley, Amazon
30 May 2007
  • Summary: This is IMHO the most solid of all Socket A MoBo's. I have had zero issues with this MoBo, it has run my XP 2600+ flawlessly.

400 = Rev 2

Amazon
9 April 2004
  • Summary: ABIT NF7-S Rev. 2 Answer to the previous reviewer. Rev 1 only supported 333 MHz FSB while Rev 2 supports 400. This is the motherboard recommended in anandtech's April 2004 overclocking system buyer's guide.

Confusing Amazon Title

Russ H., Amazon
2 April 2004
  • Summary: Desription doesnt state whether this NF7-S is the original version (400mhz memory/333mhz FSB) or version 2 (400mhz memory/400mhz FSB). Does anyone know?

NF7-S Rev 2.0

Johnathon Margerison, Amazon
4 February 2004
  • Summary: Well i wanted to upgrade my computer but in doing that i fig'd i'd use my old computer parts to build a new computer also (i bought a 3200+, used my 2500+ to build another computer). [...]it was a POS so i RMA'd it. So i researched what was the best Socket A mobo out there, the NF7-S v.2.0 came up a lot (and the Lan Party Ultra II or something like that also).

yeah but....

Duane R. Davison "Biosylum", Amazon
4 February 2004
  • Summary: In reply to previous reviews, Amazon does not state that this is revision 2.0, nor does it state that this board actually supports 400FSB - They merely copied data from Abit, and you can not tell what revision they are selling.

It's version 2.0, and it's great.

Mitchell A. Noble "chipmonk", Amazon
4 February 2004
  • Summary: The one I bought from Amazon is indeed Ver.2.0 and capable of supporting 400 FSB cpu's. I have a AMD Athlon 2800+ cpu (333FSB) running with 512 MB crucial 2700 ram (2 X 256). This combo works! This MoBo has a lot of expand abilities that set it apart from some of the comparable priced units. Features such as 5 PCI slots, three slots for DIMM RAM (up to 3 Gig!), AGP slot (gotta have 8.0) gives plenty of room for expansion. Excellent on board sound too. Onboard LAN also!

ABIT setzte wieder einmal neue Standards mit diesem Mainboard

Yopi
3 April 2010
  • Summary: Einleitung ABIT - der Name stand Jahre lang für einen Vorreiter in Sachen Overclocking, Lieferumfang und Innovation.
