  • Summary: Great board very stable and a very good board if you want to overclock your CPU the only con I have about this board is that it only has one pcie x16 slot a board like this should have had at least 2 pcie x16 slots but it is still a good board.

Only get if you get a good deal or need the ICH9R raid controller

aratidwell, Ebay
7 June 2011
  • Summary: I have over one year experience with this board. I owned one from Dec 2007 to June 2010 when I opened my case avter moving in the summer time, and dripped sweat onto it. Board is decent, but over rated. It lacks PCI-express 2.0 which is a big deal if you want SLI or crossfire or full USB 3.0 bandwidth through the 1x slot ona 1x controller.

The best Intel 775 board?

Ebay
22 May 2011
  • Summary: Perhaps the best Intel LGA 775 board ever made. Too bad Abit is out of the motherboard business now. Drivers, etc., still available for download from their website.

One of the best Motherboards out there.

Jerry A. "Das Trust", Amazon
13 April 2009
  • Summary: I have owned quite a few motherboards. Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA, of course ABIT, and a few others. This is definitely a rock-solid board. It comes with many items that even rival the current i7 boards, and come with the option for rock-solid overclocking. RAM for this board is cheap, and use a 64-bit OS and this board can handle quite a bit. Lots of heatsinks, and it handle's one of the best overclockable processors, the intel Q6600.

Not for the faint-hearted

RCFERRIS "RCF", Amazon
26 October 2008
  • Summary: Have owned this Board since January 2008, and it has performed almost flawlessly, except for the following: 1. Abit monitoring software(UGURU) doesn't play nice with Vista x64-SP-1, and I've had to uninstall UGURU. 2. The SATA connectors are at right angel to board, so almost impossible to change cables w/o disassembling some or all of your system. 3. You will most likely need a BIOS update(17 is latest) and you will need a FDD to do it. 4.

Great Motherboard!!

K. Giles, Amazon
3 June 2008
  • Summary: Awesome Motherboard. very easy to Overclock and configure the way you need. I wish the fan Voltages would go lower than 8v, but otherwise a very stable board. The onboard POST LED indicator is a major plus. I was able to overclock my Q6600 to 3.02 with Kingston Value Ram @667Mhz with Zero problems on the 1st try. I am tweaking more out of the system. It is very easy to work with.

Great board

AdamHonek, Ciao
5 November 2007
  • Excerpt: "...have a habit of buying Abit or Gigabyte boards. Great for overclocking be it a dual core or quad core CPU. The IP35 PRO has a good layout, there's no problem installing a long graphics card or a large CPU cooler. There's a clear CMOS switch on the rear I/0 shield which comes in handy. A POST LED on the board itself comes in useful should the PC not boot-up as the error code it shows goes some way to indicate where the problem is. Not many boards ...
  • Pros: Board layout, feature rich, performance
  • Cons: Latest 16 BETA 1 BIOS won't allow using above 3GB with all of it being visible

Technex, Ciao
11 September 2007
  • Excerpt: "The Abit IP35 Pro continues Abit's quality line of computer products. It is a really well built motherboard which you can tell has been designed very well. It might not look as amazing as other motherboards around this pricerange but this is because Abit have designed the beauty to come from the inside, it's very reliable and the performance is outstanding. There is a helpful display on the board which will display error codes if anything is wrong, ...
  • Pros: Great quality, uGuru software, IP35 Good speeds .  Nice mb lights .
  • Cons: Running more than one graphics card can cause some speed problems on the 2nd .
