I have been working with my desktop for 6 years with no problem. It has AN8 Ultra motherboard with AMD-Athlon 3000+ 1.8GHz. So far I have no complain as we used it as a family computer. Since memory card price is now relatively cheap, I want to add more memory to have a slight boost in its performance. However, I came to surprise that the PC only recognize 1.0 GB extended memory even though I have two 1G Kingston HyperX PC3200 memory cards installed on DIMM-1 and 2. The manual says that it support up to 4GB means that each DIMM slot support 1GB memory. I should have 2 GB now but it only shows 1 GB. Anyone can shed me a light?
