It's fairly nice; until the power supply goes on you...

  • Summary: This monitor is decently crisp and bright, even if the color depth leaves something to be desired (I was sometimes told of subtleties in an image online others could view easily but I could not until I viewed it on my laptop - yes, my laptop LCD screen was much better in this regard). But, while mine lasted ~2 years before developing serious backlight and power problems, it turns out I was luckier than most.

Westinghouse Monitor

flowersofthesea, Ebay
5 August 2010
  • Summary: I run dual 22" Westinghouse monitors. Could not be happier. This monitor is great at its cost point. The controls are simple and straighforward and it's easy to calibrate this monitor. I have not had an issue with my first one and it's been over 2 years now. The second one I purchased used and it's working just fine. There are many other LCD monitors on the market, and you could pay more, but why? This setup should last me at least another 5 years or so.

Good for one year...that's about it.

dragonsp001, Amazon
29 January 2010
  • Summary: I purchased this monitor about 13 to 14 months ago. It functioned superbly during most of that time. It worked great for typical applications, web browsing, movies, and most of the games our family plays. The downside is that it started having issues after about 12 months. It would black out and just suddenly come back on. This lasted for about 2 months until it just stopped working completely.

Cheap, but numerous downsides

27 June 2009
  • Summary: Pros: *This is a 22" monitor with decent resolution for under $200 these says *The image is nice and bright. It works fine in well-lit rooms. *At its native 1680x1050 resolution, this monitor looks great, especially when using DVI, but it converts analog nicely. Cons: *The speakers are pretty poor quality. they are tinny with no range.
