Summary: Purchase was smooth, product arrived on time, quality was great. I already had two of these monitors and I needed a third for my Eyefinity setup. I could not get the monitors to setup right and found that these monitors have a glitch using HDMI connections with Windows 7. VGA is great - HDMI gives an Out of range error that you cannot fix. This is a great VGA monitor.
Summary: Sure it's a bargain, however it's not what it claims it is either. The monitor will NOT produce 1920 x 1200 resolution through the HDMI / DVI. The highest resolution you can get is 1920 x 1080, (slight stretching of pixels). Set up is easy if you know this. Otherwise you can spend 6 hours on the phone with a brain-dead customer service rep who is either really brain-dead or is being told by the higher ups to cover their mistakes.
Summary: I bought a Westinghouse L2610NW 16" LCD 1080p monitor. It worked beautifully for about 20 minutes. Then it fried - screen flickered a few times and went black, then blinked multicolored vertical lines. I returned it and got another one of the same model. It worked just fine until I adjusted the brightness down from the factory default 100 to about 75, when it started making buzzing/ringing moises inside the monitor.
Summary: Pros: Great colors watching HD material is excellent All necessary cables included Works flawlessly with PS3 (HDMI) Cons: stand could be better buttons not labeled but later figured them out Over all a great budget monitor this is my second LCD from Westinghouse
Summary: Ive owned this monitor for about 6 months with no problems. Its pretty bright and has inputs for both digital and analog. I am using the VGA connector, and havent run into any problems. The only negative is that the in-monitor speakers dont go that loud. The bezel is thin and shiny black for a modern minimalist look. I have owned a samsung 19 inch before this, and I would say this monitor is brighter and MUCH bigger!
Summary: Got this over a year ago and it's still kickin! I love this large monitor, and got it at a great price ($230), and I've had no issues with it at all. I have 1 dead pixel in the lower right corner, but it happened since I've owned it. Response time is great, I wanted a large monitor I could also use as a gaming TV if I needed it. This works great with the Xbox360. The thing I was worried about was response time, but this handles that with ease.
Summary: Using this at 1920x1200 with an EVGA 9800 GTX. It never goes out, no dead pixels, no overheating and kinking out in the middle of the game. It's perfect, but there are a few quirks. It NEVER overheats while continuously being on, NEVER. However, if you've been using it, ie it's hot, and if you turn it off, it won't come back on until it's cooled down again. There is a fix to this but sometimes it doesn't work. Just keep pressing the on switch.
Summary: * * * UPDATE * * * Sent the monitor back to Westinghouse, support was friendly and helpful and paid all of the expenses to have the monitor repaired. The refurb that was sent to replace the original monitor works much better. It's still not a "fantastic" monitor by any stretch of the imagination, but for browsing the web, working with documents and other general uses it's definitely on par with other monitors in this price range.
Summary: I've had mine for about 3 months now and was shopping for another one when I saw that negative review. My experience was positive one; I think its a great monitor. There is only one negative thing about it I noticed: There are three pre-programmed display modes: Economy, Text, & Picture. The monitor makes a light buzzing sound when not using Picture mode, which is too bright for my taste. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars.
