Summary: Picture quality is very good. Internal speakers are a plus for keeping the desk un-cluttered. Just have to remember this is a monitor not a sound system. All in all a good monitor and the price was right when I bought it.
Summary: This monitor can now be found as low as $150.00 around the web. This holds the name Viewsonic™ with pride making it a perfect monitor even though manufactured over 2 years ago. DVI and VGA support. Easy Sync. Very nice and highly recommended.
Summary: That's right. $800 at BestBuy just two years ago. I'm a professional graphics person and the VX900 opened up my desktop while providing adequate resolution for creating complex graphics. Love the VX900. No trouble and easy install in XP. Now I'm ready to get a 2nd VX900... at a fraction of the price. Build in speakers aren't great but save space. RGB interface to highend video card really offers true color... also comes with normal 9-pin video interface/cable.
Summary: This particular Viewsonic monitor is a great buy. It is easy to hook up and no software to install. The best all around monitor for the price. It is very easy to set your preferences as well. This monitor only weighs 22 lbs. in comparison to my 19in. CRT which weighs 70 lbs. This monitor opened up my desk and is also wall mountable and TV ready. I have personally used Viewsonic monitors for years and the reliability is outstanding! I would recomend this unit to anyone.
Summary: I have returned the 19" monitor twice. The first time there were green pixels invading the dark areas and the second time there were red pixels invading the dark areas. The green and red pixels made it hard to read some text and view video or photos. I have just received the monitor back from repair and there is still a red pixel problem. Beware of the LCD pixel problems. I don't know if it is just ViewSonic or if other LCD models have the same problem.
