Summary: This monitor is amazing. It is freakin huge. I have to move my head to game properly. The 1920x1200 is beautiful, the response time is killer, and the refresh rate is perfect for this size screen. Thanks a ton!
Summary: I loved this monitor I had it for at least 5 -7 years right out of Highschool for my gaming desktop I had at the time the HD was crisp an it could run at 72Hz which was a small plus for back then. great color balance... I would still have to day but I ended up geatting a 3d 120 hz monitor an gave this one to my dad!
Summary: I'll keep it short and sweet: I bought this because I wanted a monitor that didn't shrink my text into oblivion, and would run my games in a native mode that didn't make the graphics card struggle. This monitor has been perfect! When I bought it the price was incredible - these days, you should compare the Hanns - but my satisfaction with this monitor has been complete.
Summary: I'm not a professional picture editor, and you probably aren't either. Everyone who has seen this monitor in my home has commented favorably on it, and I have to say that I'm quite satisfied. Chances are, if you are looking for a terrific monitor at a price that won't bankrupt you, this may be it. I haven't seen any of the problems that some of the reviewers have claimed. Bigger is better, and I'm not complaining.
Summary: First, I must admit, reading some of the other reviewer's comments with respect to this monitor planted some seeds of doubt in my mind. I even considered canceling the order. However, after plugging this wonderful piece of screen real estate in I am enamored. I use it with the Nvidia GeForce eVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB DDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card-Lifetime Warranty video card(640 mb) and I don't see any banding, gray areas, or loss of color.
Summary: I am a Video Game Developer who was in desperate need of a larger display. Well, I ask around for large display monitors that are high end but affordable. Turns out - Viewsonic was exactly what I needed. And in truth, I am extremely happy with this monitor. I replaced a Samsung 22-Inch Syncmaster Widescreen with this and couldn't be happier. I now have two extremely good monitors - 1 for each computer.
Summary: After 3-4 months of research and carefully pricing 19 to 22 inch screens ( I was upgrading from a 15" sony for my son's gaming computer) I happened across this behemouth. Bought it for his birthday. Be careful when you turn it on, it is like staring into the SUN! had to move the brightness down some. Barely fits on my credenza. What a blast for gaming. Very hard to use a 15" again after this thing.
Summary: I "settled" for this one because I couldn't afford a 30" and a dual link card to run 30 inches. It's a spectacular deal and a really big piece. I have it hooked to my MacBook without issues and get the full 1920 x 1200 resolution. Also tried it with Vista and XP. The only problem: the sleep doesn't work with Windows or Mac - it goes blue and stays that way--so turn it off with the button front and center. The thing is huge.
Viewsonic always gives me what I want...until now.

Summary: ViewSonic VX2835wm 28" (27.5" Viewable) Wide LCD Monitor This screen gives me the real estate I need for software development on multiple virtual machines at once. I can open any number of windows I could ever need on my system, and always have 2 or more visible on this one screen. I'd get 2 or more of these, but then I'd have neck pain from moving my head so much due to the broad surface area. Crip, clear, nice High-def.
