Summary: I'm a graphics designer and photographer. Currently this monitor is my @home monitor, while at work I use 2 LG IPS231's. After color calibration with a Spyder4Elite. The ViewSonic has sRGB of 99% and AdobeRGB of 78%, while the LG is 98%/78%. All in all they're all great monitors but the ViewSonic is much easier to calibrate and larger! - Unfortunately I have one dead pixel, but it is on my Windows taskbar, so I never notice it and it does not affect my workflow.
Summary: I bought this monitor after buying three similar 27" ViewSonic monitors for work. Those were more conventional monitors and about $15 cheaper, but I was impressed with their quality and how they worked with a single PC. In that case I used the DVI connection via a Dell converter. But I went upscale a bit and bought this model for home office use. This monitor runs from a fairly new MacBookPro via the HDMI port, and runs very well. I have had no problems with it.
Summary: I don't even consider using the speakers on a monitor unless I'm desperate. Yes the button placement was annoying at the start, but I've adjusted. Power button is easy to hit, just think "touch the finches".
Pros: Beautiful display. Colors and viewing angles are excellent. No dead pixels.
Cons: -Stand could be improved. -No VESA compliance.
Summary: I purchased this same model for myself in December 2013. This one was for my wife, so she would have a wider screen to open apps side-by-side. She is very pleased. We use it primarily for business and web browsing, so I can not comment for gamers. I have used Viewsonic in the past and been very pleased. And this model is no exception. Physical Features: I like the black frame-less case because it makes a large monitor on a desk less distracting.
An excellent 27" display, bright, clear and compact.

Summary: When the backlight in my 22" Samsung monitor failed, I knew I had to find a replacement quickly. I wanted a larger monitor (the rest of my monitors are 24" with LED backlights.) I looked at both the specifications and reviews for many monitors, and chose this one due to it's size, versatility, price, and the number of positive reviews. It is "bright," the output of the monitor is definitely higher than any other I've owned.
Summary: I have never owned an IPS monitor before and at the $ amount this was selling, i purchased 2 and dont regret it. I love how they have a very small bezel and the richness in color is a wow factor. going into this purchase I knew it does not swivel and wish it did so I could connect 3 standing tall to play games on. Regardless, I think this is a nice setup. but everynow and then I feel the touch buttons should be lower on the stand.
Summary: This is one nice monitor clear, high resolution, frameless, has an perfect picture. Viewsonic VX2770SMH-LED, Glad I bought it, I would recommend for games or computer. You don't need HDMI cable one comes with it.
