Summary: This monitor is great. I have owned this monitor now for 3 years. I am writing this review because I was thinking about buying a second one, and decided to write a review on how great this monitor is. Currently use one of these monitors with HDMI hooked into my GTX 780 for my gaming rig.
Pros: Great Color Great refresh rate
Cons: It's not OLED Max resolution is 1920x1080, wish it was 2560x1440?
Summary: have always bought viewsonic moniters, and will continue to do so.. the price is always right, the quality is always the highest. The moniter is sleek, bright, vibrant and everything they say it is on the description.
Summary: I was going to give this a 3 star and possibly return it, until I started messing around with the settings of the actual monitor. I did a couple things through hue and such, but it was still just slightly blurry.
Summary: I am using this monitor with my new eight-core PC. Resolution is pinpoint sharp, right down to the individual pixels. The sound is crappy, but that's what a separate hi-fidelity speaker system is for. I especially like having two HDMI and one VGA input.
Summary: Ok, so the colors look 'off' soon as you get it out of the box since it's not calibrated for what I use it for mostly (pc gaming). Set it to PC mode, max contrast (100), half brightness (50) and turn off the Dynamic Contrast and its perfect.
Pros: Great color (after set properly). Very bright and colorful. No ghosting in games. Zero dead pixels.
Summary: Here's the skinny as I've gone through a few of these. Some have stickers that are impossible to get off. Use bestine on the remaining sticky. Some have defective speakers though you may not realize it. Mine was so shrill sounding on the high sounds. I had one that went blank and came in and out.
