Summary: The power cord would not stay plugged into the Monitor, thus no power. Bad plug on the monitor?? This is the second Viewsonic I have had with similar "power" problems. My last 5 monitors have all been Viewsonic, but I will not buy this brand again.
Summary: Returned. Could not be recognized by my 2011 Mac Air. The product was light and easy to handle but there were no complete instructions for set up. The PowerPort seem to be shaky - it wiggled when I pushed the power cord in. I had to move it around in order to get the power into the monitor.
DO NOT BUY ... power adpater does not fit the monitor .... had to return ... purchase something else

Summary: Purchased two units ... the units use a external power brick or supply. The plug on the monitor and the plug on the external power supply do not match. What does viewsonic tech support tell me ... return them. Great, more time spent dealing with a two bad units.
Summary: I live overseas and ordered this monitor (I had to pay a forwarder extra $$ to ship from the States). When it got here it was not only the wrong SIZE of monitor but also a different Viewsonic model!!
Summary: Without a doubt the worst computer monitor I have ever tried to use. Remarkably bad text clarity. And that at 1920 x 1080. MUCH worse than my laptop! And that's after trying many different configurations of ClearType on and off, different resolutions and different zooms. They all suck, badly.
Thought it was DOA on arrival, returned the replacement also, do yourself a favor and avoid this manufacturer

Summary: So I just got this today from Amazon. I thought it was DOA, would not turn on even though it was plugged in. Fiddled with plug on the back of the monitor, and it finally came on. However the plug is not in there very tight, and any jar disconnects the power. Will be RMA'ing this one.
Summary: I read the reviews before buying this item. And, the reviews were great! The number of 1 and 2 star reviews were low, so I thought they were flukes. I was wrong. The lower rated reviews were correct. The main problem is the contrast. Everything feels white washed.
Summary: I am extremely disappointed in Viewsonic's customer service. I purchased a computer monitor from Amazon/Viewsonic. After an e-mail chain of 13 notes, they have still not sorted my problem to my satisfaction. They sent me the wrong power cable for my country of residence and have not replaced it.
Summary: When it arrived I unpacked and set it up. I was impressed with the options and design. I especially liked the way it could be set directly on the desktop. I spent a day trying to get rid of the "fuzz" fonts. Different drivers, different settings, running the ClearType Wizard, nothing helped.
