Great for game consoles and computers (as long as you know how to set it up).

Summary: I initially bought this monitor for my xbox360 last year. The super low input lag makes it great for being competitive in multiplayer FPS games like the Call Of Duty series. It's a great monitor for gaming. I purchased a 11" macbook air a few months ago. Initially I purchased a HDMI thunderbolt adapter and hooked it up and was not impressed because of overscan, desktop extended outside the viewport of the monitor.
Summary: No disrespect to the person who posted the first review but if they did 5 minutes of research they would know why the following happens. "Color accuracy is below average Color reproduction is washed out Overly bright and saturated contrast Poor black level" All you have to do is go to your nvidia control panel, adjust desktop colour settings and change the default setting of "RGB" to "YCbCr444", hit apply and viola, rich beautiful colours and blacks, contrast etc...
Pros: good overall. amazing colours, read my explanation below
Cons: no display port input but it's an older monitor so what do you expect? they could have put a dvi instead of the useless vga also.
Summary: I bought this as a secondary monitor for my laptop. It is full HD, LED, and the colors are great. No dead pixels. It does connect with vga and 2 hdmi. No speakers and no remote, but who needs usually crappy built in speakers and a remote you wind up losing. It has been well worth the $300.00 I paid for it. Also, it has an external power supply, and doesn't build up excessive internal heat.
Summary: have always bought viewsonic moniters, and will continue to do so.. the price is always right, the quality is always the highest. The moniter is sleek, bright, vibrant and everything they say it is on the description. There is no screen adjusting either, no need to move the screen the left or right, up or down, it will automatically do it, and do it perfectly.
Summary: TL;DR : Do not buy from Viewsonic! They deserve to go broke! I purchased this monitor over four months back and it would not power on, straight out of the box. I wanted to double-check, but I was busy shifting houses then, and after the shift, I could not locate the external AC adapter that had come with the monitor.
