Summary: This monitor is good for gaming. I bought it for halo to cut down on lag, every millisecond counts to me. Otherwise I would have gotten samsung because this one only has hdmi, dvi, vga so if you want to watch t.v. you would need a cable box with hdmi output.
Summary: I got this monitor 3 months ago after a painful 3 months of failed attempts to get some super slim LG LCD TV and super slim wall mount to work as computer monitor. Even though this is not the slimmest monitor available on the market, I have been very happy with its quality with average 8 hours usage...
Summary: I full time telecommute. I last was using dual 28" I-INC monitors and both finally went out (just guessing the bad capacitor issue they appear to have). Had to replace quickly with 2 of something.
Summary: I am extremely pleased with the ViewSonic 27 inch monitor. Quick and easy to install and set up. No dead pixels. Bright, color is great, resolution is great. I had an ASUS 26 inch (2 ms response time), which I thought was also outstanding, but it failed after 2 years, and had 1 dead pixel.
Summary: I bought this monitor a month and a half ago and was initially disappointed by it's poor performance. However, after I figured out the mistake I made, this product has become a real wonder. What happened is that I had been using the VGA cable to connect this monitor to my computer.
Summary: This monitor is really great. It has a great picture and I love the size. It has the same dimensions as the apple cinema display but for a fraction of the price. I've had it for 3 months now and it still works great. (I don't use the built in speakers)
Summary: I've actually bought two of these now, one for myself and one for a friend - this is definitely the best monitor I've ever used, and for the price it is really unbeatable. My only criticism is that it should be 1920x1200 like everything was 3 years ago, but that's not really Viewsonic's fault for...
Summary: I bought this monitor to replace my 22" samsung. If anyone is wondering if there is a difference by jumping up to a 27" monitor, YES!! there is. I just played 3hrs of dead space in glorious big screen action. If your wondering I have no dead pixels!!!
Summary: I am using the monitor exclusively for my X-Box 360 and DVD player. I therefore didn't have to worry about installing drivers from a CD nor adjusting it to the PC Video card. The setup on the monitor was still tricky, but I finally have it set to where it looks fantastic with both games AND DVD's.
Summary: I ordered this on a Tuesday, received it on Thursday, with free super saver shipping. This monitor is very nice, not a dead pixel. I have a new video card coming with dual DVI so I can run my 19" Gateway (which is great too, been using it analog, sharp as can be).
