Summary: I purchased 2 of these monitors on May 17, 2011. On March 19, 2012, one of the screens stopped working. I inquired via the ViewSonic website about support options and was told that the warranty is only good for 90 days! The customer service representative wrote: "Since you bought it last May 2011 then it is almost a year that you have the monitor. The 90 days is only for warranty." Then later said "It would be best to get a new monitor...
Summary: I bought this unit last May, and was happy about it until 5 months later. There were two vertical lines appeared in the middle of the screen. I shipped it back to ViewSonic under the warranty. The monitor was back soon after, but instead of two lines, the screen was pitch back. I sent it back again, and asked for a replacement. Another refurbished unit came, and this time, the HDMI port gave me a blury screen.
Summary: I purchased this monitor for my husband in February 2011 and it was a wonderful monitor while it worked. In June, the screen went green and we contacted Viewsonic for repair under the warranty. We were sent a replacement monitor and when we received it and plugged our headphones and keyboard into the USB ports the "new" monitor shorted our equipment out. It has now been a nearly month long battle to get someone on the phone at viewsonic to address our problems.

Summary: I helped research this item for my son who gave his mother his ASUS 24 inch LCD Monitor for her laptop and wanted something just a little bigger in screen size. I read the reviews (Witch are stellar) which not only meet all my other requirements (27 inch screen, 1080p, VGA, DVI,and HDMI ports) it also had a built in 4 port USB Hub witch was a bug added bonus. So we went ahead and ordered the monitor Thursday night and recieved it early morning Saturday (Thanks Amazon).
Summary: This screen is rubbish. It takes a long time to come to life when it's turned on or the computer is woken from sleep... and it freezes during this time. When it's actually working it flickers a lot.
