Summary: I am happy with this, and another ViewSonic Monitor that I have purchased on ebay. The bib difference, is the response time, and most of all there is less glare, and a much clearer picture on the screen! I can be in front of the monitor for a lot of hours, and my eyes are no longer tired, as before, when I could only take it for an hour, and had to quit, as my eyes would hert. As far as I'm concerned, they are the best on the market.
Summary: Great monitor when it works. I have two of these and have had nothing but problems with the color levels. If I simply unplug and replug them in I've had the color be shot and no longer respond. One monitor is very dark and the other is no where near as crisp and sharp as it originally was. I would not buy these monitors again and do not care for Viewsonic's return policy in which you have to pay to ship the warrantied product to them for repair.
Summary: Great price and great picture! I love this monitor! The quality of the screen as well as the features that it offers makes for the best monitor that I have ever had. No dead pixels and no complaints at all.
Screen died after 10 months. ViewSonic Support will not stand behind it.

Summary: I purchased 2 of these monitors on May 17, 2011. On March 19, 2012, one of the screens stopped working. I inquired via the ViewSonic website about support options and was told that the warranty is only good for 90 days! The customer service representative wrote: "Since you bought it last May 2011 then it is almost a year that you have the monitor. The 90 days is only for warranty." Then later said "It would be best to get a new monitor...
Summary: I bought this unit last May, and was happy about it until 5 months later. There were two vertical lines appeared in the middle of the screen. I shipped it back to ViewSonic under the warranty. The monitor was back soon after, but instead of two lines, the screen was pitch back. I sent it back again, and asked for a replacement. Another refurbished unit came, and this time, the HDMI port gave me a blury screen.
Summary: I bought this monitor 3 months ago and last week I found out that the 1/4 inch gap between the screen and plastic frame right above the on/off switch is not normal! I noticed the gap on the day one and it was kind of questionable for me. Last week when I was looking at the same monitor at my local Fry's store (the only physical store carry this monitor around where I live), I found out mine is defective since the one they had didn't have the gap.
Summary: I've been using this for a few months and trying hard to get used to it, but I've finally had it with this thing and I'm looking for something else. The monitor works just fine, whether with DVI or HDMI connections, but the bleed on the screen is incredible and the color quality of the monitor is outright terrible.
Summary: I purchased this monitor for my husband in February 2011 and it was a wonderful monitor while it worked. In June, the screen went green and we contacted Viewsonic for repair under the warranty. We were sent a replacement monitor and when we received it and plugged our headphones and keyboard into the USB ports the "new" monitor shorted our equipment out. It has now been a nearly month long battle to get someone on the phone at viewsonic to address our problems.
Summary: Length:: 0:23 Mins We ordered this just under two months ago, and around a week ago HDMI input stopped working. I unplugged the power for a day hoping it was just a glitch, and today when I plugged it back in everything from input appears to be green and randomly goes garbled. I tried DVI and HDMI, before DVI worked while HDMI didn't, now both inputs are malfunctioning. Sad day man...
