Summary: The built-in speakers are a bit weak, but get the job done if you need something to hold you over. I'd advise external speakers or headphones if you plan on a media setup, but for system sounds they're fine. I didn't buy this for the speakers, so this is a pretty neutral point.
Pros: Does pretty much everything I'd want a monitor to do, and is very reasonable for the price.
Cons: I do wish it came with an HDMI cable, even a very short one. DVI, VGA, 3.5mm audio and AC line in are provided.
Summary: After about 1.5 years of use, the screen of the monitor went lime green. To make it a short story, It wasn't anything I did to provoke the fault it seems. I contacted them got an approval for the RMA and shipped it out for the repair, paid $80 for packaging and shipping .
Pros: sharp crisp, very clean display with a few exceptions that may be overlooked, the contrast, brightness very strong.
Cons: There are buttons underneath the screen (pretty typical). However I found it difficult to navigate between options in the menu, which button is for enter, up, down, select, and exit. Monitor did come with a few dead pixels but not enough for me to complain as none of them were star bright.
Summary: How I use it: Home office Gaming console Videos for kids Pros: Very bright Crisp Every input type you'd need Big Cons: Speaker quality is cheap sounding Speakers through jack are not loud enough (okay through HDMI) I've had many ViewSonic monitors through the years. Never been disappointed.
Pros: This monitor is fantastic, one of the better ones that I've owned for this price, ViewSonic has done it again. After owning the monitor since August, I feel as though I would buy a second or third one. Amazing 60Hz and 27", definitely recommended.
Cons: Other than it not being 144Hz, nothing at all. freaking amazing monitor.
Summary: I bought this monitor for my wife as a gift to replace her 24 inch Acer. I did extensive research on 27 inch monitors under $300 with an HDMI input and found this VIEWTRONICS monitor would be a good choice.
Summary: Ran 30 minutes, made a "pop" sound and went blue-screen, not a normal blue screen this was one of those "millions of" shades blue with horizontal lines across at varying spaces. After the pop it would do no more so I sent it back.
