Summary: I had this for like 2 month and the DMI plug on the back went out. I had to get an HDMI cord and plug to computer. Other than that it works for everyday use. I still feel like I need another mon. for more space. So, will prob pick up another 27" but not View Sonic.
Summary: The best part - after only about five minutes, I had opened the box, completely unpacked it, removed the base, mounted it to my dual monitor stand and obtained a perfect picture. Easy breezy! All necessary cables of good/average quality were included. Best of all, there were no bad surprises and no complicated and tedious instructions to pore over. I had to give it a perfect rating because I could not find anything that I didn't like.
Summary: It works great! Great color. I use it for gaming. Easy to set up. Came with a set up disk, which I never used. The only con is the built in speakers. Not sure why they are there. Most people I know already have much better speakers and will never use them.
Summary: I was hoping this screen would well out of the box, but it took some work to get the screen to have the clarity and colors that I expected. Straight out of the box, I was displeased to see the screen wasn't filled to the edge, and actually stopped about one inch away from each edge. This worried me and when I checked my resolution I found it to be all the way up and the refresh rate was at the recommended 60hz.
Summary: I have been looking to upgrade for some time, I would like to edit my photos on something a bit bigger and nicer than my sony laptop's screen. Although it is a full HD display an actual monitor would be a nice improvement. I ran across this monitor and for 250 dollars and great reviews it seemed like a good buy.
Summary: Bottom line up front: excellent price, excellent quality, excellent image. Crisp, clear, colors are great. Wasn't sure what to expect, and I am a serious stickler when it comes to monitors and image quality. Unboxed it, plugged it in, bam. Couldn't of asked for more. Easily beats my Samsung monitors (and that's saying a lot) as I tend to be partial to that brand.
Summary: I bought this for my new macbook pro and tried connecting via direct HDMI, mini display to VGA and mini display port to HDMI and the resolution, blur and pixellation was pitiful. HDMI 1080p shows a stretched out image with large font sizes and 1920 x 1280 is horrible compared to a Dell monitor of the same size, resolution and connection via mini display port.
great monitor, but HDMI-HDMI connection didn't work for me

Summary: I like ViewSonic monitors, and have been very pleased with the 2431 I've been using. So I decided to get a larger one, and opted for the 2730mh, in order to get the hdmi input (the similar 2703 has only dvi). However, I found that with my Windows7x64 machine, the display just didn't work right when using hdmi-hdmi, the display was fuzzy and the screen didn't fully cover the lcd panel.
