Summary: You must have with this monitor. It's a good buy, but to get the color and everything exactly how I need it for graphic design work was really frustrating. I ended up using 50% for all the color settings when hooked up to my airbook and then cranking the contrast and brightness up.
Summary: This is a very nice monitor for the size and the price and it works great. Why then, am I giving it only 4 of 5 stars? Because, they gave this monitor a beautiful non-glare LED screen and then some MORON put a SHINY piano black bezel around it. WTF were they thinking???

Pros: Looks nice when tweaked fully. Would be a nice monitor without all the flawed "features".
Cons: I play a lot of games and the "Ultra Fast" response times ghosts like crazy. This is the first LCD monitor that I could actually see the ghosting. If you turn it to standard or advanced, then you don't get as much if any. The dynamic contrast ratio is really shotty. If you play games, just keep i...
Picture isn't as good as VX2450WM-LED, which Amazon says it replaces

Summary: About six months ago, I purchased a VX2450WM-LED monitor. I was quite happy with it, and I went to purchase yet another one, when Amazon said that it had been replaced by a newer model, which is this item right here. I figured I could only be pleased with the next model up from the one I owned.
Summary: Nice, large screen. Reason for 3/5 stars is the lack of VESA mount. I didnt notice the lack of VESA mounting provisions till I had already unboxed the monitor and started getting it setup. Dont really want to go through the hassle of reboxing and returning the monitor to Amazon.
Pros: 2ms very fast No problems in games and very clear.
Cons: Color is a bit washed out. I also have white uneven light form the left side of the screen. I call their tec support and they said its back light bleed and can be normal for thoes screens. They told me their was nothing they can do.
Summary: Overall the monitor performs as needed. Resolution and aspect ratio is good. The dynamic contrast mode is not subtle though and shifts brightness depending upon what is displayed(the trade off for energy efficiency).
Summary: I purchased this monitor and ran into nothing but problems with the image quality when it was connected to an early 2011 MacBook Pro 13" - until I switched from a "mini-Display Port to HDMI" cable to a "mini-display port to D-SUB" cable.
