Summary: The majority of my use and is text and internet browsing and I used the VX2452mh in this regard as a primary display on a gaming PC for several weeks and was pleased with the overall text quality. The resolution on this 24-inch unit is 1920x1080, which is pretty standard in this space. The text is large enough on this display, and it fits nice in any desktop environment.
Pros: Attractive design, Three Inputs, No "ghosting" in video games or movies
Cons: No height adjustment, Color and Luminance uniformity are weak, 23% Variation in brightness uniformity
A low-cost LCD monitor with a Full HD resolution, and high quality colour and contrast

Summary: Viewsonic's 24in panel offers colour reproduction and contrast that's impressive for the price point (especially if you can find it for under $200), and its viewing angles are also good considering it's not an IPS panel. Our biggest gripes are noticeable backlight bleeding on black backgrounds, and the glossy finish of the stand and frame.
Pros: High quality colour reproduction, Good contrast, Motion blur wasn't an issue for us
Cons: Noticeable backlight bleeding, Glossy bezel and stand
Excerpt: Viewsonic recently sent us their latest 24” (23.6” viewable) 16:9 LED monitor, which is targeted at the gamer. It has a 2ms (GtG) response time, an anti-glare coating, FULL HD resolution (60Hz) and 2 Watt integrated Stereo speakers.
