Summary: I bought this monitor on Amazon on May 27, 2010 and was very pleased with just about everything. The speakers are okay if I just want to listen to music in the background while I'm working on the computer.
Summary: I bought 15 of these monitors for my office. They were easy packaged well and shipped quickly. I have a very average technical ability and was able to unpack the monitor and get it set up quickly and easily.
Summary: Second ViewSonic I purchased in the past two montsh and great. For less than $200 this screen is aswesome; 24" HD, built in speakers, connecting with DVi. Not the best picture in the world but very very good, especially for the price.
Summary: [...]It is a great monitor, but there is a caveat: although the monitor is full HD 1080p [1920x1080 resolution], the weak link is your PC's ability to provide a 1920x1080 input. We found out through Viewsonic tech support that our PC graphics cannot; and we may need an expensive video card to do so.
Summary: I bought this monitor from Office Depot for $279, which is a bit more expensive than what's available on Amazon.. so I wouldn't wince at this price at all. The laptop that this is being pared with won't output to 1920x1200 resolution so I had to get a 1080p monitor..
Summary: I use my computer all day and decided to give my eyes a gift...a bigger display. I was going to get the Samsung 2343BWX, but it does not have integrated speakers and desk space is limited. The Viewsonic VX2433wm is a 24" display with 1080P resolution.
Summary: I wanted a large monitor for doing animation. The monitor is great, but I've found the quality to lack when using the VGA connection. My computer only has VGA, and there is significant static in dark colors.
Summary: I bought two 24" monitors at the same time to find out which was better (and because two people need one). The other was the ASUS VW246H. This monitor has sharper text, and in my opinion looks better. The GUI isn't as refined as the Asus but one never really bothers with that after initial setup.
