Summary: Generally a decent monitor, but the HDMI input mode has a very annoying quirk where you need to choose HDMI AV or HDMI PC mode. I did not notice this and lived, for a long time, a loss of use of the edges of the display, as the monitor scaled away the overscan area from the displayed images.
Summary: This is the second VX2433WM I owned and could not be happier. The picture quality is excellent and very easy to configure. I have been using ViewSonic for many years, they offer great resolution and are very well made monitors all around.

Summary: I bought mine May 2, 2010. It is now April 12, 2012. Less than 2 years. the display has continuously gotten dimmer. Green shading occurs at contrast points/lines/areas and is especially noticeable on lighter color tones (like skin or sand in a movie, picture and even in games.
Summary: I have always liked Viewsonic monitors, and have had a few of their Pro Series CRTs, so I had no hesitation buying Viewsonic when looking for a replacement for a 15" 'off-brand' LCD that had served me very well over the years, but it was finally time to put it to pasture.
