ViewSonic VX2433wm Review

Reviewboard Magazine
4 August 2009
  • Excerpt: The ViewSonic VX2433wm is a typical Twisted Nematic monitor with DVI and HDMI connections and built-in speakers. It also has several useful color temperature options, but its performance in games and movies is marred by its relatively low brightness level. For about $200, the monitor is a good value if your needs end at productivity work, Web surfing, and occasional gaming and movie watching. But beyond those uses, don’t expect too much from this ViewSonic monitor.

ViewSonic VX2433wm monitor

Techworld
11 May 2009
  • Summary: Those looking for an inexpensive 24in LCD display may be tempted by the ViewSonic VX2433wm's cheap price and impressive specifications. But with tinny sounding speakers, less than sharp text and pronounced colour shifts when viewing the screen off-angle, the VX2433wm will suit only the easiest to please.

From the Lab ViewSonic VX2433wm

Macworld
7 May 2009
  • Excerpt: (1 items) The ViewSonic VX2433wm is a widescreen, 24-inch LCD monitor made with multimedia in mind. With its HDMI input, fast 2ms pixel response time, built-in speakers, and sub-$300 price tag, the VX2433wm looks great on paper. Unfortunately, its fuzzy text and mediocre viewing angle keep it from looking as good when its sitting on your desk. ViewSonic VX2433wm The matte-screened VX2433wm has a shiny black plastic bezel and stand.
  • Pros: Inexpensive, Multiple connection options
  • Cons: Fuzzy text, Limited viewing angle, No USB hub

ViewSonic VX2433wm 23.6-inch Widescreen HD LCD Monitor Review

ThinkComputers
1 May 2009
  • Summary: Final Thoughts The ViewSonic VX2433wm is a great display, I really didn’t find much wrong with it. I had never reviewed a 16:9 monitor (all 16:10) so I was surprised when I opened it up and it was a bit wider than my other displays. A 24-inch 16:10 monitor has a native resolution of 1920 x 1200, whereas this 16:9 display has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. So you are losing some height, but I really do enjoy this aspect ratio.

ViewSonic VX2433wm: günstiger Monitor mit Schwächen

CNET
1 October 2009
