Cons: As other reviewers have stated, the left side of the monitor has turned pinkish and there are visible refresh lines and some horizontal banding occurring. Even though there is a 3 year warranty, ViewSonic wants you to ship it in the original box. I didn't bother hanging on to the box for this lon...
Summary: I checked monitor with multiple cables and different inputs, but tint and flickering was still present. I also checked the video card with another monitored and was working without any issues.
Pros: + good colors + no ghosting
Cons: - horrible built in speakers - 1 year and 8 months later screen is having issues. half of the screen is tinted purple and not refreshing properly.
Pros: Thin, crisp image, good response time while it lasted.
Cons: Today, almost 21 months after purchase, the left side of the screen became pink and pixellated, with visible refresh lines. I agree with the review by Joseph M., and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Summary: As a side note I ended up in the hospital(heart attack) 2 days after delivery so I could not re-submit my complaints...two weeks later I get out of the Hospital, and still no response. Honestly was too tired to deal with it.
Pros: Colors a Brilliant. Low Power. Monitor would get a 3 star rating if both worked, but there are some description flaws! Price was kinda good...paid 2x for one monitor tho.
Cons: Not sure if all this is New Egg's or Some being ViewSonic's fault but here goes: 1) Screen is not 23" 2) There is a gap between the bezel and the "viewable" part of the LCD. 3) These monitors are not VESA Mount compatible. meaning you cannot take them off the stands. 4) Ordered Two of these, one ...
Summary: I've been using ViewSonic monitors since the old CRT days, so when I wanted to upgrade my old 22" to a full HD monitor, I bought this one. What I thought I was getting was a monitor with a slightly larger screen, and better resolution. What I got was the better resolution, but in a 21" display..
Summary: I bought 3 of these monitors back in September of 2013. I really liked this monitors. The quality was great for gaming, watching movies, and photo editing. On January of 2014 one of the monitors started showing horizontal flickers.
Summary: I read great reviews about this monitor, and I was aware of the inconvenient location of the settings buttons (they are not that bad, but not as easy as some other brands) I am very disappointed in the quality and look. I was expecting a monitor that was clear and had good color...I did not get that
Pros: Good price and made this purchase based on the reviews
Cons: When I first turned this monitor on, I noticed the whites are more grey looking than white. I attempted for hours to adjust the monitor and my video card just to get a decent looking screen. I then bought an LG IPS monitor and can clearly see that something is not right with this monitor. I never...
Pros: I love the frameless design and it's the perfect size. exactly what I was looking for.
Cons: Line down the middle and far left of the screen, extremely visible with a dark background. Very disappointing. This just delays my work schedule more; being that I have to return this monitor and prey I get one that's not defective. I'm sure just taking an extra 10min to check the monitors, befor...
Summary: I bought this to replace a 5-year old Optiquest 20" (which still works great, I just wanted a newer, more efficient monitor). Sadly, it's a disappointing monitor. I cannot turn down the brightness enough to make the screen bearable to look at for any length of time.
Pros: No dead pixels.
Cons: Cannot turn down brightness enough. Colors not great.
Summary: It's a decent cheap monitor. It's IPS, but it's IPS is build on regular 10 years old TFT panel. Colors are a complete disaster. Even IPad 3 gives a better contrast / colors pair. It's advertised as nameless or with thin frame, but in reality besides physical small frame (which is 5mm) part of glass...
