Summary: I just got off craigslist for $130 for PC Gaming. I was a little hesitant before buying because there were such little reviews. Let me just say that the 120hz on this monitor looks wayyyyyyyyy better than a 60hz. I went down from a 1080p led too and I have not looked back.
Summary: I got this monitor to go with the nvidia 3D vision & GTX 470 card. It is AMAZING in most every game I've tried it on, mass effect 2 being the only one that was not great. Great value and would buy again.
Summary: I would definitely recommend this Monitor to anyone wanting to do 3D gaming, while on a budget.
Pros: Excellent Monitor for the price. Plus 3D ready for those wanting to delve off into the 3D realm. Newegg had this delivered to me in a heartbeat. The only thing really that was to complain about, is the fact that it has like one or two stuck pixels. But this doesn't affect the overall screen quali...
Cons: Just three. No HDMI Port, VGA, or Headphone Jack.
Summary: I love newegg. Delivery from IN to SoCal in around 24-32 hours! Great customer service regarding this order.
Pros: 120hz awesomeness aside, the color on this is really great! Replaced my Sony Bravia I was using as a monitor with this and i'm 100% satisfied. Really noticeable difference from 60 hz to 120hz in FPS games. The Samsung seems almost the same to me from some research but this saves you money.
Cons: Came with one dead pixel. The dead pixel is hardly noticeable though, especially during gameplay. As a matter of fact I can't even find it while typing this up against a white background right now. Some bleeding on the bottom and top but that doesn't bug me all that much either. Almost all monito...
Summary: I purchased this monitor because I loved how my existing viewsonic (about 6 years old now) looked, but I wanted a second, larger one. Also, the fast refresh option sounded like a nice thing to have.
Summary: I actually waited until my 21" CRT died before purchasing an LCD, because I was accustomed to high FPS, and didn't want to downgrade my FPS to 60 with the older style LCDs. This monitor rocks. I have not tried any of the advertised 3D uses, and cannot comment on the 3D capabilities.
Pros: If you're a gamer, and your current setup is limited to 60 FPS by the monitor, but is capable of much higher FPS, you will FULLY appreciate this monitor. The difference is astounding. Brilliantly bright, vivid colors, perfect for many applications, but you will fully get the most out of it with g...
Summary: I love this thing. I made the switch from CRT to LCD in 2003. Now that I'm back on 120hz refresh, games like Quake Live just seem so much easier. Everything is very fluid. A definite must if you are a competitive FPS gamer.
Summary: Make sure you use the supplied DVI cable. I tried using my previous DVI cable from my old 60 Hz LCD monitor, and I had major problems at 120 Hz. Switched to the supplied cable, and all the problems went away.
Pros: Super sharp, crisp, bright. No dead pixels. No flicker or jumpy motion effects. A perfect gaming monitor.
Cons: Very few hardware adjustments available. You'll have to use Nvidia's software tools to fine tune it to your liking, but it can be done, and it's not that much of an issue. Once you use Nvidia's brightness adjustment, it seems to disable the monitor brightness buttons.
